BREAKING NEWS: Rockwall-Heath OL Trevor Elbert has committed to Texas A&M following his junior day visit to Aggieland.
"I'm about to call Coach Sumlin and commit," Elbert broke to GigEm247. "I just felt like it was the right time."
"I was talking with my family in the car and I just told them I thought it was the right place to. I just felt like it was the place for me. It felt like home."
The 4-star tackle, who chose the Aggies over the likes of Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Auburn, Ohio State, among others, explains why College Station felt like home and what it means for A&M's class moving forward
"It's just the atmosphere there and I love all the coaches," he said. "I'm definitely going to become another recruiter for them now. A recruiting coach in the making (laughing). I want to get Malik Jefferson and Larry Pryor."
Elbert is the No. 111th ranked player nationally and the No. 10 rated offensive tackle in the country, according to 247Sports.com. The Aggie currently hold the No. 1 spot in the team recruiting rankings for the class of 2015.
