Luper said his advice to his son was simple.
“Just follow your heart. Take a look at everything and your heart will not let you down,” Luper said. “I think he’ll have a great career. They play four receivers. He’ll catch a lot of balls and enjoy himself. He’ll get a great degree from Texas A&M.”

Sound advice from his stepfather, plus he will be playing in the SEC. Cameron is a good person and a talented athlete. He chose a great school!

Of course we would have loved to have a kid with the outstanding character of Cam Luper (plus having another "Cam" at Auburn would have been AUsome), but I understand his desire to go closer to family he has been away from for 11 years. Glad he chose A&M so we can get to see him play in the SEC. Congrats Aggie fans, I know we are going to enjoy having you as a worthy and respected opponent in the SEC west! Good luck this season, except for one weekend.

The difference in "opposing fans" posts between the SEC and the Big 12 is night and day. I'm sure all the SEC schools (A & M included) have their share of bad apples. I used to marvel though, at the idiocy and complete lack of class shown by posters from the other Big 12 schools. Now I marvel at the incredible amounts of class shown by SEC fans. I realize all bets are off on game day, but the posts by Auburn fans on this page are why I think we've been an SEC team all along. We just needed to make our way home.
