There's not much drama on how the quarterback position grades out for 2012.
You guys do realize that you are talking about the QB pipeline over the next 9 years right!
That right there is just CRAZY!!
we NEED Kenny
I think the QB's should look at us like they would at Bama now. With Manziel at the helm, anyone coming in behind him could be brought up in the system, plug in at QB their junior or senior year, have a great year or two, and get drafted. I give our QB's a much higher value than the QB's that bama has (they are smart, but not extremely talented). I feel like they'd get national recognition and show their skills much better in our scheme. A starter for a tier 1 program for 1-2 years should have guys lining up.

Just throwing around those "A+" grades huh? What a homer.
Kenny is perfect for this system. We really need to keep him.
He also looked pretty large in those highlights posted earlier of the desoto game. The ability to run is just another dynamic but his ability to pass is the key.
Hey Blooms, instead of getting lost in the shuffle is there another position for M.Joekel like Tight End?
Are we certain Joeckel and Showers will return? Neither of them are looking at transfer options? Just curious since neither of them will likely ever get to be the starter here and Showers in particular has the kind of arm that could land him in the league if he got to showcase it. Not that I'm trying to push them out the door, just wondering what their thought process is. I would root for either of them to succeed and would not think badly if either of them decided to transfer and we could surely use an extra roster spot for the 400 guys we're signing this year...
Showers and/or Joeckel are just one knee injury away from being starting QB, and we all saw on nation-wide TV just how easy a knee injury can happen. The more the QB scrambles around, the higher his chances of injury are. Manziel is a scrambler. No one's gonna change that. Also, if next year is anything like this year, the backup QB will get plenty of field time in 4th quarter if not before. We need one, possibly, two able and ready to go QBs in the bullpen.
There was a post on the twitter feed that Kingsbury went to Lubbock today??? True or not? If he did go to Lubbock on the day of the big "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" celebration that would be a very bad sign indeed. To blow off the homecoming celebration to go to Lubbock would seriously imply intent to take the job; thereby not worrying about hurting anyone's feelings back on Wellborn Road.
