Polian's departure does not eliminate the Aggies.

Isaac Savaiinaea has been a major target for the Aggies since last spring. His area recruiter Brian Polian is reportedly headed for Nevada. How does this affect the 4-star LB?

Coach Sumlin has not set up an in-home visit with Saviinaea but will likely get the ball rolling on that once he returns from Miami

Yikes, so what happens if/when Wallerstedt leaves for Tech? Sounds like the coaching changes are going to end up being too much to overcome to get him in the fold.

Sumlin having an in-home will have way more to do with savage than polian in the long run.

I didn't quite take it like that. Sounds good to me actually. He can still be friends with Polian but will commit to the university instead of the coach. I'm good with this.

So more than Polian, for landing Savage, we must make sure to keep Wally on board since he is his position coach.
Is there *any* news on the coaches final annual reviews and getting salary raises? Now we're done with the bowl game as well. Someone like Wally could be persuaded to stick around if given a raise?

If Wally leaves then you could really see it being a difference maker for UCLA. You can tell he really loves A&M. I'll be interested to see if A&M slows down or continues to pursue

I like this kid so much more than Maestro. I think we should have waited at least until Sumlin was able to get in home with him because I really think we could land him. Sumlin could at least get a better feel for where he is leaning after an in home visit.

I was afraid of this too. Why else would they go get Jordan if Savage was still a good possibility, especially with so few spots left?

Who knows if we're still going to go after Savage still? Jordan just committed. We have no idea if Savage is still a target.
