Mahomes, another QB target for A&M

Holy crap, those stats. To compare, Kenny Hill had 3014 yards 25 passing TD's and 24 Rushing TD's his JR year. Not only did this kid break that, but he did it almost all through the air! AND, he threw less Ints. He even did more than Kohl!

He doesn't seem to be nearly as much of a dual threat.

That said, he's got a fairly lackluster rating for being such an early target. I want tape on this kid, and I want it baaaad. He seems to have the measurables, but so did Gilbert.

Pitcher and 3b. He already has 2 baseball offers and was the district MVP as a sophomore

Frankly, if I am looking at a QB and he is sincerely worried about the depth chart I move on, not the kind of leader and competitor I would want out there.

One thing I've noticed from the lion's share of recruits, they are directionally challenged. You don't go down to Whitehouse from CS. All the LA. kids think they're going up to CS. Nobody comes "out" or "over". Most have not been out of their communities much less the state. It's understandable when they want to take as many of the paid visits they can.

He is concerned about competing with 3 QB's who have never played a down.

He is going to run into something similar at every school.
