I believe if we had replaced McMillian and Walters last year we would be a top 10 team.

When Sumlin made absolutely no effort to keep DeRuyter, it was a pretty clear indication that we're going to be a 4-3 defense. His statements are also conducive to that thought. We might as well accept it now.

Could you be any more myopic? Who gives a crap about the sack numbers? We're freaking 7-6 and our defense is ranked very low. I would trade at least half of those sacks for a better overall defense and a 10+ win season. Would you rather lead the nation in sacks and be 7-6 or have a lot less sacks, have a better defense, and actually ranked? As we've seen this year, the to don't necessarily go hand in hand. I could give a rat's patootie about sacks, I want W's.
