Mesquite Poteet sophomore OLB Malik Jefferson (6-2/210) was named a first-team 4A All-State selection by the AP today. His regular season stats were 92 tackles, 20 TFL, 7 sacks, 5 FF and 4 blocked kicks.
OMG! Is this real? Can a kid this young really be this good? This kids at 15 is better than any I have seen. He is aggressive to the ball, he uses his hands like a seasoned veteran, his speed is amazing for an OLB. Can he really get better? This kid would officially qualify as "a freak" We need to offer him a ship and his first born if that what it takes to get his committment now.
