There is absolutely zero effing chance samples would be ranked that low if he were a pending Texas commit. And, Gerry there is not a rebuttal appropriate.

Yea the Samples explanation sounds like horsechit. I would be much more concerned about a guy with 2 shoulder surgeries or if he had an ACL. A broken ankle is not that big a deal. If he is trying to say he is injury prone well hell the injury was caused by a horse collar in a 7on 7 game if I remember correctly.
I haven't studied it but are there examples where these guys have some A&M commits higher than other services or have moved our guys way UP? Maybe all of this evened itself out? Just wondering...

I understand you guys don't like each other and I promise you I don't have a dog in that fight. I'm just someone who gets to enjoy both services and I believe both are great.
Two of the biggest issues I have with the rankings are Golden and Manning. Your scouts or guys who watch high school football honestly believe neither of those two are top 10 talents? Golden not even top 15? Oliver and Raulerson are better talents than Golden and Manning? No way...
There are many other issues, but those are two of the biggest along with Samples.
Not to defend TOS, but their staff watches games too and actually employ a former player. I am can't tell you who can judge talent better, but it's not like they don't know what they are doing.
