ACL lineup

Not too shabby imo...
Black Keys, Avett Brothers (put on a helluva show), Jack White, The Shins, Weezer, Gotye, The Civil Wars (can't wait to see them), M83, Childish Gambino (Troy from Community), Andrew Bird, Two Door Cinema Club, Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Alabama Shakes, Needtobreathe, and Red Hot Chili Peppers headlining.
Oh yeah, and it is on a bye week for A&M and during the Texas/OU game. I will be there.

The Avett Brothers are the shit. Went to there lincoln, NE concert and was AMAZED by the talent. Saw them play If its the beaches. If anyone knows about the band and that song the chances of seeing it like are like running into a Chupacabra.

It was actually the weekend we played UCLA in September. Much hotter.
TX/OU was the same day as Yom Kippur. That was kind of a big deal for the surprisingly large Jewish population at UT.

Yeah, as I look it up the dates in 2009 and 2010 were both in October, but different weekends as well. Seems like I remember that as a complain recently, but maybe it was people who wanted to watch UCLA. Which seems weird, lol.
