Heck, find an Aggie banker(s) to give loans to the businesses that want them. Everyone wins
Is there really a chance we build a brand new stadium? Im not so sure i see that happening. But we will def expand Kyle field.
Playing in Houston for a year or two would do wonders for our recruiting and alumni base in that area. And through that whole time we keep talking up how incredible the new stadium will be.
These are the same guys that are doing Baylor's new stadium. Those renderings are pretty good for them, can't wait what they come up with for a real fan base like ours. Not tarps here.
I really don't think 6-7 weekends a year should devistate the local community.
For everyone who thinks that doing this in stages is better--keep in mind that you'll have fewer visitors over the course of 2-3 years. Capacity will be reduced while one section is being worked on. There might only be 55-60K per game for 3 season which overall would be a decrease of the same proportion, just spread out over time.
The true test of a man's intelligence is how much he agrees with you.
A lot of the businesses might not have the excess cash flow to continue to operate until the stadium's finished. There's also the fact that "banks won't lend you money unless you don't need it." Honestly, I think they will be fine, but you know they'll fight it if they can.

Maybe posting's just not your game. I know, let's have a spelling contest.
If you really need six or seven weekends out of the year to keep business then you don't have a good product and shouldn't be in business. Play in Houston for a year and get this shit done.
Thats what im sayin! I want this renovated stadium bad! Take a year and get it done. Dont span it out over 3 years lol
Do you know if they are leaning towards building a brand new stadium, or just renovating and adding seats to Kyle?
I want it done in a year as long as that year isn't 2013 or 2014. Anytime after the 2014 football season feel free to do whatever.
I personally believe that building Kyle on West campus would be more feasible but doubt it will happen. I don't really care about the location so whatevs.
We should play our games in Waco, that stadium deserves to have fans fill it up for saturday. We shouldnt neglect Kyle Field north in anyway.
