Some news from the park today as Brandon Wood is back in the field and in the lineup after his collision with the wall out in left field last week.
For the Broncos:
With Wood back, the Aggies go:
Carson's favorite pitcher is on the mound today for the Aggies. Derrick Hadley has a season record of 1-0 with a 6.35 ERA. He's give up 8 hits and 8 runs (4 earned) in 5.2 innings pitched so far this season. Opponents are batting .320 against Hadley.

Derrick Hadley has more production in big games than David Lou beau.
Hadley starting games still blows my mind.
So far so good. 2 ground outs and a flyout. Bottom 1st.

I'm gonna do the same as yesterday and just update when something interesting happens, but Hadley getting out for the first inning unscathed probably qualifies.
A&M strikes first on a wild pitch that scores Naquin from third. 1-0 Aggies after the first.
I'm just wondering what kind info Hadley is blackmailing Childress with to keep putting him on the mound.

UT Pan Am gets two on what should have been a close play at the plate but an error by Brandon Wood in left allows not only the first runner to get in easy but a second runner to score.
It's ruled a single with one RBI, and a second run scored on an E7.
That's followed by a wild pitch.
The Broncs tack on another one. It's 3-1 UTPA in the top of the third.
There was almost another error on the final out of the inning but the ball bounced off the wall behind House and he was able to throw the runner out at second.
Does Childress not hit these guys fungo?
Your logic is boggling my mind
Still 3-1, headed to the bottom of the 4th.
Jason Freeman into the game for Hadley. Though Hadley gave up 6 hits, it's worth noting that none of the runs were earned.
A double to deep left field makes it 5-1 Pan-Am.
Are we playing sloppy Aubrey? Or do we have bigger problems?
Well, there has been some sloppy play for sure, but Pan Am is hitting the ball pretty well today. (Not surprising with Hadley on the mound.) It's just still the fifth though, a few innings for the Aggies to do something at the plate.
It's 5-2 now, top of 7.
Thats the final. Aggies go down 5-2.
Errors are starting to worry me.
Ya it needs to be fixed... Quickly. Big XII starts Friday
