More than anything else the players on field have to "believe" that they can win, it is incumbent upon the coaching staff to drill this into their heads and hearts this week. A&M is about to enter one of the most hostile environments in all of college football and they are bound to have few things go against them, but they have to push through, they have to believe. Even withou the "homer hat" on anyone who has been watching can see this team growing with each passing week, from better decisions by Johnny Football, to an increased balance from the running game, to big stops on the defensive side. This coming week in Bama can go one of two ways and in my humble opinion it is based on how well we take care to the ball, if we have little to no turnovers we actually have a shot, otherwise it goes badly for us. A&M 27-Bama 24 without TO. Bama 38 - A&M 24 with TO.

Interesting article. I think one thing we do not know is how will Manziel respond in a truly hostile SEC environment? The schedule, in that respect, has been very kind to TAM. A 3/4 filled Ole Miss, a demoralized Jordan Hare and one of the smaller stadiums in MSU is nothing compared to a jacked up Bryant-Denny with 100k plus. I am not taking anything away from him nor saying he cannot handle it, just pointing out he has yet to play in this type of environment against this type of team.
As an Alabama fan I am looking forward to seeing this young man in person. He has been very impressive the times I have seen him play. And you guys are having a fantastic season. Finally, I really hope your coaching staff is discounting our defense the way several posters have on this thread. Trust me, they ain't bad.
For those of you guys making the trip. Please have a safe trip and enjoy yourselves in Tuscaloosa. Well except for about four hours Saturday. Glad you guys joined us in the SEC!

We need at least a 17 pt lead late in the game. Regardless of what happened against LSU, I expect we'll get their best shot, as they are always prepared to play at a high level no matter which week or opponent it is. They've got a lot to defend.

Interesting. Only two teams have scored 17 against us the last two years.

Was not inferring you could not score 17 points was just pointing out that Alabama has been pretty darn good on defense the last two years in scoring defense.
I think you should have confidence in your team. They have played well this year and Sumlin is proving to be an excellent hire for you guys.
Do I think Alabama wins? Yes. Do I discount TAM, not at all. And please never compare our team, or fan base, to MSU again. :)

Only comparing fan bases based on what we've experienced this fall. Every week is the same, massive disrespect of A&M, like this is the first time we've ever seen football. Followed by either blowouts or close games. It get tired. But maybe that's the SEC. Don't know, don't care anymore.

I wish yall had been in birmingham last weekend. My family was walking through target in our TAMU gear, and you would've thought I was Mitt Romney. Tennessee fans, Auburn fans, everyone but Alabama fans were coming up to ask saying 'welcome to the conference, we're pulling for you next weekend against bama!" We have a huge fan base, plus everyone else's fan base rooting for us tomorrow! We can do it!
