Tra Carson just transferred from Oregon so assuming Tyner's commitment holds we will have Byron Marshall and Thomas Tyner as the only true scholarship RBs with Barner leaving. Not sure if Carson saw the "writing on the wall" or not, but the chances he would beat out Marshall and Tyner are debatable. De'Anthony Thomas will obviously get carries but he should be playing WR as much as RB ideally. I'd say the depth chart is very favorable for Wilson especially with Kelly often running to 2-back sets. I would be MORE THAN happy with a RB depth of Marshall, Tyner, and Wilson, and whoever else. From what I have seen all three are great receivers out of the backfield as well. Also with Tyner on board Wilson is #1 on our board guaranteed.

Rumors are that Tra's departure was mostly related to lack of work ethic.

With the Aggies going to the SEC and at his size, I agree that Wilson he is not likely to be a feature back in that conference. Dontre is smart enough to understand that it is probably not the best place for him if he is set on playing RB. He will be much more of an impact player in the PAC-12 or elsewhere.

No matter where he goes he knows he won't be an every down back, so go somewhere in which the defense is poor and less athletic than him... Try and put numbers up and see where it takes him...
