Brian Norwood as our DC

It's been mentioned on sportstalk and other boards that Sumlin is close to Baylor assistant head coach, Brian Norwood. It appears Norwood has a very decent chance at becoming our next DC. His resume doesn't seem too impressive... What do you guys think?

It would make me not support Sumlin. That would be a terrible hire.

I havent heard that name but that would be a terrible hire. Baylor is Terrible at defense.......
I really dont see this being the kind of hire that he would make on that side of the ball.

Norwood could be an option as a DBs coach but not DC. He's known as a pretty good recruiter and had a lot of success as a secondary coach at Penn State before becoming the Baylor DC. I think his son plays for Baylor so that might make it hard for him to leave.

on second thought, BU finished 112th in pass defense this year and I wouldn't want him under any condition.
