Correct me if I'm wrong (I may not know some of the plot lines here). He was an early commit for Sherman. Sherman get canned, and Sumlin doesn't see whatever Sherman saw in him. Sumlin and Co. gives him the cold shoulder/won't resturn calls/no contact. While Sumlin doesn't pull his offer (bad form), he send the message that it might be best to look elsewhere for a scholarship. The kid looks around and now settles on Nebraska, for good or bad.

I get that he decommitted, but I thought thats what Sumlin wanted and what we pushed him towards.

I'm not feeling the level of hatred that B. Addison generates, but people don't seem to be wishing him well. I feel like I don't know part of the story. What am I missing?
