When did it become an understood fact that 10% of the population is gay (not that there's anything wrong with it)? I live in San Francisco and I don't think 10% of the population here is gay (again, not that there's anything wrong with it). Are people just too scared to call them out on this bs because they're like Kramer from Seinfeld, and they're worried about the gay Puerto Rican couple coming out of nowhere and tearing them a new one?

Well, 50% of the population is completely ignorant, so I'd take it with a grain of salt.
Where you live in SF? I'm in the east bay. Also, I agree that there really aren't as many gay people in SF as people think, once you get off the Castro at least. I don't think 10% is gay.
That does seem really high...
Take an Ecology course. It's been shown that it's roughly 10% of entire species, not just humans.
Are you kidding? I could hear that arrow a mile away.
I'm in the Marina. Show up at Monaghan's for one of the football games and I'll buy you a beer.
Fully agree with the theory that there is just a certain percentage that is. Completely disagree with the conclusion that it's 10%. How could you possibly prove that, anyway? How would you identify a gay owl in first place?
Don't know, but I had a gay cat.
offseason is so ridiculous that we get threads like this one...
NMO Illuminati want to rid the world of 90% of the population.
Maybe gay people are the only ones that will live
if you watch cable television, you'd know that this country is about 50% gay and 50% black, and that 90% of all white women are smoking hot.
I could have sworn its closer to 3-4% that are defective

A down vote for asking a legitimate question about an item brought up by the media on Super Bowl Week? Is the gay Puerto Rican couple from Seinfeld a paying member of this community and trying to shut me up?
Now I know what Cameron meant earlier this week.
what? god can't even crank out production at six sigma level? sheesh. what's he good at anyways?!
A six sigma process is one in which 99.99966% of the products manufactured are statistically expected to be free of defects (3.4 defects per million).
so either your god is full of sh(t or you just shat your pants because you can't handle the fact that nature is full of diversity. If you can't embrace nature, at least accept it... if behooves you to do so, having earned a degree from A&M, which is one fine institution of higher learning (but seemingly not of higher thinking).

lolololol @ the dudechugger that downvoted
You upset one of our 10%.
(not there's anything wrong with it)?
Yes,Yes there is something wrong with it.
panties in a wad much?
I downvoted because I hate all this socio-political b.s. and bellyaching that goes on here from time to time. i come here to read about sports, and I firmly DO NOT share the conservative social agenda of some Aggies. Doesn't make me gay or anything (not that there's anything wrong with gayness).
hah, now some bible thumper imbecile is downvoting me. Didn't expect any different either!
some of you need to grow the F up.
Well your words and actions are hurtful, Mr. A Little More Liberal And Supposedly Open Minded Than The Normal Aggie Aggie. We're not bothering anybody by asking questions. Why can't you just let us be?
your question was innuendo and you know it, don't try to act all naive now. What difference does it make whether SFO's population is 10% gay or less gay? How many Texans are gays? Are there more of them in Austin versus College Station? Is there an even distribution of gays in America? Is there one in your bedroom right now?
when someone suggested a scientific basis for the estimate (that's what stats are, after all), you didn't accept it either.
so I wonder what your agenda is to pose such a question. Oh, nevermind...you said it yourself... just want to show you're not "scared" to call out a statistical distribution... well, that's very cool of you, fellow Aggie.
I'm a purveyor of accurate knowledge. Just because I don't like being hoodwinked doesn't mean I have to live by your oppressive rules. And I'd appreciate it if you and your closed minded politically correct agenda woud quit trying to judge/silence me.
I know you feel your better than everybody else. But I'm just as special as you any day.
I'm here. I won't live in fear. Get used to it.

Well count me in the 10%
Because I am gay...I am a lesbian trapped in a man's body. I can't help myself I love the:
the breaded calm
the hairy taco
the honey pot
Speaking of gayness, is this a date?
