Long name in her, short name watched. Hmm, Jordan and Case? Tough call.
Did Case beat up dat pussy?
Can you be any MORE crude? Just wondering.
What if that was your daughter?
I think what he is trying to say is if Case beat Jordan for doing that.

Nothing funny about a situation like this.
as bad as this is, two things stand out. 1. when you are an elite athelete, anywhere, you do not allow yourself to be in a stiuation that can lead to this type of charge......ever!
and 2. a year ago, and in year's past, the political pull at dear ole tu would have, I think, been able to supress this type of story from getting out, perhaps, there is a new sheriff in town......good luck deloss, explain away!
Swoopes will not be a QB in college
got to keep yourself out of this scenario. and the girl was far from innocent. so, your by yourself had some drinks and invite 2 large men back up to your hotel room and then? ya. and then when you get caught doing something you shouldnt have been doing in the first place you claim they made you do it. that said it couldnt have happened to better people.

You're fucking awful. So she was asking for it, huh? Next time you have a thought...keep it to yourself.
Hicks and McCoy need to serve time and have the favor returned to them.
They are far from elite, but the point remains.
Just saw espn say that the 2 of them getting sent home is completely unrelated to the sexual assault investigation. Gotta love that spin cycle.
No, I was being crude. I appreciate the defense, but admittedly what I said was in bad taste. While I think the girl was stupid to take two dudes back to her hotel room and put herself in such a compromising situation, its still a horrible outcome. Apologies to the board.

Mack tap dancing at the presser laying out the tu paid PR boy's spin is classic. Gotta protect that sip brand I suppose. I hope it gets played up big with espn drama for their bowl tomorrow.

McCoy and Hicks, not sure if that has already been clarified. Too lazy to read all the posts.
Your will to win will define you tomorrow.
I don't think anyone knows the facts on this so why all the emotion?
1. Could she be completely full of shit and just pissed about a poor decision she made? It's possible and not out of the realm of possibilities. It's happened before with women claiming to be raped when no such event actually occurred.
2. Could she be a victim? Absolutely. The evidence will prove her correct if that's the case.
This is why rape kits are invented and investigations occur.
To claim she is innocent at this point is just as wrong and claiming they are innocent. No one knows right now although it's easy to speculate.
Is she the first woman to get into an unfavorable situation where something like this might have happened? No. Could she possibly be just another girl who claims rape when it didn't really happen? She wouldn't be the first woman if that ends up being true. I'm sure in time the truth will present itself.
I know it's easy to hate on them b/c they are sips and thought of a woman being raped is awful. But I think we've witnessed these types of stories with athletes where the evidence proves not only to be on both ends of the spectrum but also somewhere in between.
How about letting the facts come out before speculating, Sherlock? Truly saddened by the cold attitude shared by many on this.

On the bright side. I doubt that we will have to endure any gatuitous images of McCoy's parents in the stands, etc.
Your reading comprehension level is really low "Sherlock"
My post was specifically about letting the facts come out before crucifying them.
I presented two scenarios we often see in these cases and said it could fall on either side of the spectrum or somewhere in between.
What cold attitude is being shown? Unless you've already convicted one side and are sympathizing with the other.
Filthy longhorns aside, definitely need to hear to entire story on this one before casting stones. I say that as someone who was damn near the victim of fictitious rape claims and would have been had I not gotten a weird feeling early and taken extreme precautions to eliminate the possibility.
It was a joke
cameron00- Please post details about your "weird feeling."
I am sure the SAPD will investigate the charges against the players. They were suspended from the team due to a curfew violation- that is the only fact that we are sure of in this case.
Sometimes it IS the girl "funkytime". With a handle like that its pretty obvious you a sensitive guy. Have seen this play out before and watch a friend lose his scholly only to be vindicated in court 2 years later. Because she (good Christian girl) couldn't deal with the fact that she wanted sex and then people found out she had sex(shame). So yes, I do think its her fault.
Went from overly "good girl" to insanely drunk and whorish way too fast. I know that's often a good thing, but I just had a bad feeling. Called a couple of girls next door to help me handle her when she blacked out an tore all her clothes off.
Next morning, sure enough, I got a call first apologizing and then throwing some very strong accusations of her being drugged and taken advantage of. I put her on the phone with the girls and apologized that she was embarrassed. She was furious but eventually backed off.
