It was great watch C-Mike run all over defensive lines in the past. He easily had the size to simply push through some tough spots when he got into a jam. From what I saw on Saturday I think he is going to have a much rougher time in the SEC. His speed and footwork is going to have to pick up a little more to make up for having to run over the likes of gators as opposed to tards and bears.
Anyone else notice this on Saturday? Or am did my perspective from ground level at the end-zone distort what I saw?
I think they all played a little tentative in the second half. I didn't catch any of the first due to work but all them seemed reserved in the second.

Florida's front four might be the best front four we'll see all year. But more importantly, in my opinion, is that he's been running with Tannehill for the last couple years, so teams had to respect the pass. That was not the case on Saturday. I think you'll see those holes open up again once our QB shows he can throw the rock.
Good gosh this board has gone full idiot.
SEC SEC SEC!!!
He's plenty big. Maybe got a bit thick.
but he does lack lateral quickness and is a better down hill north and south runner.
I think we should use the pistol with him.

230 yards rushing against Arkansas last year. Last time I checked, they were in the SEC. Maybe it's his knee.
There's not a RB in the country that can pick up steady yards when the defense is set to stop the middle.
Cmike's not the same guy.
Well we play Lsu and Bama remember, maybe 2nd best at most but 3rd behind those two

He's fine, but like we've talked about, in the past he's always been better coming downhill than he has out of the shotgun. I would like to see him in the pistol some so that he doesn't have to take steps toward the quarterback before hitting the line of scrimmage.

he looked good following the tight end off the tackles. It looked like a set we could run over and over again for 3 +
I believe we ran something similar goal-line where he followed Lamothe in for the TD
I believe we ran him out of the pistol once but I could be crazy.
It was the first game against one of the best defenses in the country. He will pick up steam for sure.
