SEC SEC SEC!!!
Mother of God, can you imagine what our offense will be like if Derrick Griffin does qualify? Griffin, and Evans on one side, RSJ and JaQuay on the other. That mixed in with all of the speedsters coming in like Quiv and Parker. This is at a level I have never seen.
Could be an elite group, especially with the speed that Tabuyo can bring. Also, don't forget Edward Pope at 6'4", assuming the coaches don't move him to the other side of the ball. Just curious, what makes you so certain that Griffin (btw, at 6'7" I think) will qualify?

Its disturbing, in a good way
Don't forget Clear either.
Pope is in the '13 class? I can't find him on the commits page, anyone have a link to his info. Good find though, just another great weapon.
Yea, Clear is a good athlete, but I'm not sure how they will utilize him. Do they pass to him, or will he mainly be a blocking TE?
Someone please verify. But iirc, we didn't keep tightends to block on most if any passing plays.
"I make Blake Munroe carry my bags wherever I go." - Taylor Hamm
No, he was class of 2012, but he red shirted this year. Coaches really like his potential, from what I have read.
4* safety/wr we stole from tcu. There's quite a few '12 kids that were redshirted that I'm excited about for next year.
Quiv is 6'3"?
I think he meant quincy
Clear was told he would be used as a Gronkowski(sp), Patriots TE, type player. I see him being a hybrid player, very effective in the red zone. He should be used a lot like Hicks was this year and Joseph Cheek (except he will be an eligible receiver at the T spot).
Coach Sumlin singled Pope out in his press conference yesterday. Said Pope was impressing on the scout team, etc.
I did, I apologize.
Awesome, thank you. With all of the talent we have at WR, it might not hurt to get this guy on the defensive side of the ball.
Griffin will not qualify neither will victor davis
Why you say that? I think Griffin does qualify, and Taylor was hinting at it.
Taylor said he was trying, but too little, too late. He won't make it in.
The true test of a man's intelligence is how much he agrees with you.
Can we actually follow this kid then? A year of juco and then pick him up, or is he going to go to the big xii, where SEC rejects go?
I'd put my money on A&M following him closely until he is able to join the team
Your will to win will define you tomorrow.
I'd be happy with that. I mean hell, at 6'7 a corner rout to the corner of the end zone is a dream scenario.
I don't say it, coaches say it. Taylor never hinted at Griffin qualifying, he knows that Griffin has a lot of work to do. He needs test scores through the roof to get in.
Yeah, he was actually named co-offensive MVP with Tra Carson on the scout team. I'd guess he is going to stick on the offensive side of the ball.
that would be a corner route....just saying. a post route is where you run down the middle to the goal post.
Yea that route . Sleep hasn't come easy the last few days, thanks for the correction.
