Martinez leads off the visiting 7th. he pops one to short center but Bratsen comes up and makes the play.
Krill puts one down the left field line for a double
And that's why you put Scott Arthur in, he makes a diving grab on a grounder and gets it over to first in time to end the inning.
0 runs on one hit for the Spartans.
Still 5-1 heading to the bottom of 7. Grab another cold one fellas, it's the 7th inning stretch.

Thanks for the update Aubrey. I bought tickets to Sundays game
Tonight's crowd of 5,236 is the second highest this season, and almost beats out Tuesday's basketball game.(I figure our Michigan State fans would get a kick out of that.)
Juengel gets an infield single, then he takes off for second on ball that got away from the guy at first, they throw him down at second, but the first base umpire calls interference.
End of the day, Juengel is on second.
However, the umpires are still conferencing about it.

Just kidding, so end of the day, Juengel is at first with a single, no interference, no error, and no idea what exactly what they ruled down there.
Juengel takes third and House takes second. I think I could take a base tonight (probably not, they could throw it into left field and still have time to get me at third.)
A pop fly by Wood is going to get Juengel home.
6-1 Aggies, 1 out with a runner on second.
Lankford goes 6-3 but advances the runners.
Bratsen flies to right to end the inning.
On to the 8th.
the A&M relief gambit just headed out to the pen. I expect Kyle Martin to start warming up.
Keur hits a sharp one to left to lead off the inning for the Spartans
Boss hits one to right, Keur doesn't test out Naquin's arm and stays at second.
Uriegas and Martin warming up in the pen.
Here comes Kyle Martin out of the pen.
Martin has thrown 6.1 innings this season, and allowed 5 hits, 4 runs (all earned), has 2 walks, and 9K's on the season.
martin has never impressed me, way, way too easy to rattle.
Martin gets Jones to ground into a 4-6-3.
A single to left scores Keur, and that will close the book on Wacha, who will actually have an ERA after this game.
Martin walks Scanlon
Tying run at the plate for Sparty, and here comes Uriegas.
Uriegas K's the pinch hitter Andy Johnson to get the Aggies out of the Innings.
The Spartans come away with 1, but leave the bases jacked.
6-2 Aggies heading into the 8th.
New pitcher Tim Simpson hits Reynolds who takes second.
Naquin doubles to right, scoring Reynolds from second. (7-2 Ags)
Final line on Wacha: 7 innings, 8 H, 2 R (both earned), 1 BB, 7 K, 92 pitches, 62 strikes
Naquin takes third, because why not at this point.
Juengual pops out to the pitcher.
House flies to right to end it.
I'm headed to the field for interviews. Aggies are up 7-1, Urieges is still in the game.
