Do we have a counter for the fake injuries that will surely play a part in slowing down our tempo? If Florida did it and LSU also (although less than Florida) why wouldn't BAMA? Heaven forbids they fake the injuries and also put a spy on JFF, will we have a chance at all?

Did you play for Bama?
SEC SEC SEC!!!
I didn't notice it much against LSU but Florida was painfully obvious. Muschamp's a bitch!
I F'ing hate you for that thread title!
I definitely agree we need a new thread title! Don't forget about Saban's comments that we need to change the rules to slow down offenses in the name of "player safety". I think they will be dropping like flies to prove his point.
Fake Injuries didn't really stop us against LSU. It was one thing I was pretty proud of. They got up, and we continued to drive down field.
Will Bama start flopping? Maybe. Should we start if it helps us? I'm for it. As much as we hate it, it's a strategy.
“Honestly [tu's offer] doesn’t really matter though because I won’t go there. I won’t even visit." “I want to play big time ball in the SEC"
I don't disagree with using the rules to your advantage. I feel the same about taxes. I do think the rule should be updated and not allow the player to re-enter the same drive. Maybe sit out a set number of plays? As it is now, it gives a defense an infinite number of timeouts and all they have to do is sit a player out for the next play. If a player is so hurt that he can't help himself off the field, how the hell is good to go 1-2 plays later?
HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!! I played for A&M under the watchful eye of Jackie Sherrill
Hey guys. Alabama fan here. First let me say welcome to the SEC and I hope a lot of you are making the great trip to Tuscaloosa for our game.
I can't imagine Alabama faking an injury to slow down the clock. I've never seen us do it, and it's not really our style to attempt to win a game in this fashion. We do love to run players on and off the field between plays on defense, but I believe that we will find a way to do this without resorting to flopping.
You didn't notice their players "cramping" on the first drive of the game?
We run the Air Raid offense now. There will be players from other teams that take dives. It will happen.
Don't be shocked or upset or confused or "drop-your-monocle" appalled. It happens.
1) Faking injuries is the only way to slow down the offense if it gets on a roll. I know you don't want to hear this, but it's true.
2) Faking injuries is only border-line illegal. This is in a league where the NCAA won't regulate anything less than dramatically-illegal. And then only if they really have to.
3) Speaking of which, there has never been a flag thrown for taking a dive.
4) THEY MIGHT ACTUALLY BE INJURED. Seriously. The offense moves fast. Football is a full contact sport. You don't know how injured you really are, and if they are really injured, you are an ass.
5) It doesn't hurt to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Now, what do we do?
We aim for the spot vacated by a starter. We hit them hard and fast and hope to take advantage of having their second stringers out there.
And then we be passive-agressive on the internet for the next year about it.
