Stepped there game up with these.
As long as A&M doesn't have a version of Adidas' "blinding line" of basketball unis. Baylor and Louisville's neons were bad but Michigan's last night were on a whole different level.

Adidas sucks. I hope we get back to Nike soon.
I absolutely hate Adidas, Michigan and A&M need to get back to the Nike days. Adidas has turned Michigan's Maize into highlighter yellow, atrocious.
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
Nike's shoes suck. They are very uncomfortable and why a lot of pro athletes won't wear them.
Adidas was like a whole new brand this year. I liked everything I saw, at least on the tamu side. Seriously I was anti-Adidas until this season. I'm a believer now.
The adidas jerseys and pants are 1000 times better quality than Nike. The Nike casual wear is generally cooler, but I'd rather my team be wearing the better uniforms that are more comfortable, fit better, don't restrict motion, etc. (and are generally indestructible unless your name is Spencer Nealy)
Ask Aggie Von.
Adidas performance wear is better than Nike but I like Nike shoes better just because of design, has nothing to do with comfort. You don't wear Nike's for comfort, it is a status symbol more than anything.
So you don't mind your feet hurting as long as you look good?
Adidas definitely had better gear this year. Basketball is another story, but in terms of football uniforms, and other apparel Adidas has done a high quality job this past year. We'll see how long this lasts.
I don't get the whole alot pro athletes don't wear a lot of Nike comment. Who are the big Adidas athletes? Von, RG3, Tannehill, D-Rose, and who else? Basically any other athlete that has a shoe sponsorship wears Nike. Lebron, KD, Kobe. The NFL basically all wears Nike cleats now save a few guys with other deals. Shit Jordan is a Nike brand.
But sure, the jerseys restrict movement less /wank
I'm sure Nike does have a lot more as they spend more marketing money. But ask athletes what they prefer for comfort and it's not Nike.
Adidas shoe design was a contributing factor to Derrick Rose tearing his ACL. They had to go back to the drawing board and totally redesign his signature shoe because they had removed far too much of the cushioning and support from the midsole. That's why his shoe isn't the Crazy Light anymore they just call it the D. Rose 3.5.
I'll admit I'm a Nike snob. I'm a sneaker head and only really buy Nike stuff. But they are the preeminent brand in sports shoes and clothing and they are what kids want much more than Adidas. The uniforms did look great this year, I just wish we hadn't looked so much like Mississippi State, also an Adidas school. The all blacks were awesome though. I would be willing to bet though that with our hype from this year, a move to Nike would lead to some special stuff from them like we got from Adidas this year.
Yeah I'm sure you're right. Adidas uniforms suck. What do I know, my dad just owns a sporting goods company and I was an equipment manager for five years /wank
My wife has lived by this mindset for years.
Are you saying then that athletes wear Nike and Jordan all the time off the field because they have to for their contracts? Because thats what they always seem to be wearing when they arent on the field or doing team related stuff. Trust me, I spend way too much time on sneaker websites that always have stuff about what shoes so and so were wearing. I'm not proud of it lol.
Cause I said they suck? No I just think its a stupid to claim some uniform enables better performance. It's a jersey and pants. I'm not speaking to what lasts longer or what is easier to get a stain out of. Nike teams wins. Adidas teams win. They amount of movement their jersey allows plays pretty much no factor in that.
Not talking so much about basketball shoes/sneakers. Their cleats are not comfortable.
My little sister is a buyer for a major dept. store and deals with Nike. She really doesn't like their shoes. She has told me this and then I saw it on 60 Minutes once when they did a feature on Nike: Nike doesn't hire a lot of people that deal with comfort, science of the shoe, but hire a lot of people who are artists that work on designs as that is what sells (read posts above).
I'm willing to bet you've never held a Nike jersey and our Adidas jersey side by side. They aren't even remotely alike. It'd be like comparing a t-shirt to an underarmor performance shirt. Yeah the underarmor might not win you more games, but it's undoubtedly a hell of a lot better to wear than the shirt
Nike's top priority is marketing. Nothing wrong with that, they make tons of money. But they care more about looks than performance
