Texas is loaded for 2014 and i wanted to get your opinions on where you guys stand with some of the 2014 DB's
Ed paris CB/S : thought to be an LSU lean, but i think A&M could end up being a threat down the road.
Tony Brown DB: A&M is a big player for his commitment, along with Bama. Should be a three horse race. LSU, A&M, Bama
Brandon Simmons DB: Either he tags along with Paris or he goes to WVU IMO
Nick Harvey: A&M Lock
Simmons: Don't care
Win we shall, yes we can, yes we will.
I don't think anyone here believes there's anything less than a longshot that Paris or Brown are coming to A&M. And, I don't think A&M has shown any interest in Simmons.
As for Harvey, I don't consider anyone a lock 12 months out. But I also don't think he would go to LSU. (see above paragraph)
Fwiw Paris isn't the staff's top rated in state safety.
Wow really? Who do you guys have higher on your board at Safety?
Dylan Sumner-Gardner is #1
Ahh okay i see

I can't read your posts
Basically just said they like Jamal Adams and Dylan Sumner-Gardner for us at safety then close it down. I think Ed Paris will be a LB in college. In any case, I don't see us getting Paris or Brown. Brown to LSU and possibly Paris although I think his recruitment will be eventful.
Daddy98 said: "Ed a good one. I am a big jamal Adams safety fan."
Ollie said: "+1
DSG and JA
then close shop at S"
And I said: "Same here. Any of DSG, Adams, or Paris would be awesome commits."
That's all you missed from the VIP posts
I'm guessing you're thinking of Ed Freeman. Paris is more likely a collegiate CB than LB.
didn't realize that VIP was clicked
Paris is a sfety by all but bama who runs a press, cover 2 system
Yeah Paris will defitnetly be a safety. Although he does enjoy playing corner and and being physical with recievers man to man
hence the reason that for Bama they may actually play him at rec.
I think he probably lacks a step or two to be a cb all the way but he could.
He's a very good db
The Longhorns will get none of the above.
I guess I'm starting to truly understand why Texas was so upset about the Aggies moving to the SEC. This has to be hell for them considering Sumlin is running the recruiting game in the state now and other SEC schools have gained exposure within Texas, making them appealing alternatives to being mediocre in Austin.
Well, to be fair the Longhorns can have Darrion Johnson. So good for them. We're not offering.
We tried to tell them this was going to happen and they laughed...
I'd like to see us go after this kid. I say we go Big and this kid is a bad a*s!!! Jabrill Peppers, CB, Paramus Catholic. Attributes: 6-0/190, 4.5 40. We have got to be able to beat PSU in recruiting?
Paris would make a perfect CB.... Size and Speed......
