Early pricing for Section 145 Row 6 (20 yd line of north end zone) tickets are going for $488 each....the cost to take my family to a good game with a good seat have just become absurd these days. Lets think about this...Get a good seat at the game for 4 at $2,000 or sit in front of my badass TV for free and have an even better view, plus all the beer I can drink with no worries of driving home? No brainer in my opinion, this shit is ridiculous. But then again, there are suckers born every minute that pay these ticket prices, so why not charge that much.

I agree risen
I have about 10 friends (non-Aggies) here in California who are DYING to go to that game to experience Kyle Field and the best game of the year in college football. We'll spend a ton to fly down there, get rooms in Austin, tickets, rental cars, etc. Can't wait!
You can't put value on being there. The atmosphere at Florida and LSU last year was priceless. The mizzou game when Johnny went down I mean you can't grasp the energy in the stadium from home. There are certain games in a season you have to go to. Bama and at LSU for me are them.
I'd give my left nut to be at the Bama game this year!
That's less then what t.u. tix would go for in the past 10 years or so.
People give more than a testi for TU tix
This is also a third party site so it's letting the market dictate ticket prices. The actual face value of this ticket is probably about 100-105, imagine if A&M just let the market set the price by starting tickets off at about 800 each for this game and then gradually lowering the price every couple of weeks and opening up new sections of tickets. They'd be about halfway to the new Kyle Field just off of that.

Should just pony up for season tickets like the rest of us. Or watch from home. Either way, quit bitching.
if he doesn't have season tix already, I doubt he gets them anytime soon.
Don't crush my dream man. I am canceling the $4500 worth of rodeo tix I buy every year. Trying to parlay that into 4 season tix. Been donating to 12th man for awhile. Hope something shakes loose
Yeah I was thinking about trying to get some season tickets this year but there's the 500 flat donation per seat this year instead of more affordable options and I doubt many people don't renew theirs. And if you don't get seats you can get refunded for the ticket price but the 500 per seat donation just goes towards your priority points.
It's not ridiculous, it's capitalism. People will buy them all, so there's nothing wrong with it
Lettermen's is telling members that if you didn't have tickets last year then there is "slim to none" chance you'll get them this year. Glad I got mine last year
That's what I figured. But if not being able to get season tickets for a while means the team is winning and demand stays high I can't complain too much
Oh well. There's always stub hub.

They state in the renewal packet that they expect 98% retention. I'm guessing that's not much more than 1000 tickets to come up open and I'm betting they'll get picked up by current holders (hopefully I'll be one of those but I'm pretty far down the line and I've been donating over 10 yrs with 3 years of season tickets). And Bama took all their ticket allotment, so that game will be even harder. Sorry man.
