What is the purpose of that other than spending a ton of money and being a huge traffic problem
City of College Station's Pedestrian Mall on Northgate? Why?

To actually try and create a downtown.
Besides that, that interaction claims many asians and chinese each year on bikes.
Well it's supposed to be so that people can drink and eat out there on game weekends, same reason they got rid of the parallel parking in front of northgate
Great idea! No one needs to drive down that street anyway!
You guys are out of your mind - that's a great idea.
They're giving people room to drink outside on the sidewalk...worth every penny

Win we shall, yes we can, yes we will.
Looks good. We need something like that near campus
Near campus? Did they move Northgate?
Maybe they should open their eyes.
SEC SEC SEC!!!
"Northgate has moved to Georgia" - Tommy Tuberville
GOOD TO SEE KYOTO SUSHI IS STILL IN BIZ. SAKE BOMB!
It looks good. Northgate will always be a natural gathering place and reducing auto traffic in the area is a good thing.
Yeah, I'm interested to see what it's going to be like over there when it's finished, but I'm a huge fan of the walkin' beer.

Its just about done right now they have about 10 foot of brick left to lay on one end and need to pour the side walk on the other and then its finished. They also added about 8 foot of side walk from the old loupots to the chicken.
I love this so much. Much better sense of community.
Awesome. I'm impressed.
