Will take for bk to get fired after this season.
This post was edited by maroonguy 18 months ago
Not Aubrey, but as long as he continues to show up he'll get fired IMO. 110%, no doubt at this point. The UK win was the Fran win against tu in 07.
I'd actually prefer he doesn't show up so we don't have to pay a buyout.
Win we shall, yes we can, yes we will.
I hope you are right Ebo. This is unreal. How do you suck this bad? Come back Billy Clyde, we need you, and you need us! Kliff is gone....

Well, the situation is a little more complicated than most people know. Suffice to say that it might be A&M's best interested to just hold their cards for one more year.

I really have hard time believing that paying off his contract in full and saying thanks for nothing would get A&M in a lawsuit.
Plus it would be money very well spent if it gets us back in the tournament. When you know you have the wrong guy, it never does any good to wait.
SEC SEC SEC!!!
That's the old "big 12" way of thinking. We are bigger and better now. bk needs to be gone the day after our last game of the season if not before.
No complications, no fuss, just get it done.
From IH-35 to IH-10... what then?
Our athletic program has tremendous momentum right now. Think how ridiculous the hype could be with a top basketball program.
Huh. Wonder what that means.
Has nothing to do with his illness. Chip's on the right path. Nothing's for sure yet though.
It also depends on how the rest of the season shakes out, if the people inside the AD really think Turgeon left the program high and dry (and he did in a few different ways) then Kennedy should at least get three years to sort things out, but you have to show some pretty substantial progress in year three, this is basketball, not professional baseball or something.
If the elite basketball programs can have perennial success with players leaving after one or two years, I don't think we owe Kennedy a third year. Especially with players transferring out like they are.
Well, that's an odd way of looking at it, elite programs are also bringing in elite players year after year, A&M is pretty far away from an elite program.
we definitely don't have the status of elite programs, I'm just saying basketball doesn't take the amount of development football takes, and I don't see the benefit of giving Kennedy now time when he's had less success than either of the last two coaches did in the same amount of time.
I'm sure the cupboard isn't as bare as it was.when Billy was hired.
Aubrey can you explain the situation about the APR? I've heard several people talk about it but I'm not entirely sure what the rules are
Well, it is in a way. A&M had a couple of serviceable guards on the roster before Gillispie got to A&M, including Law, Wright and Leach. Wright was a legit NBA player and would be light years better than anyone on this A&M team.
Turgeon certainly had a much better team that Kennedy does, so it's hard to just compare year to year results, it's more complicated than that. Again, that's not making excuses for some of the fundamental problems this team has, but this isn't a very talented team.
Well see though.
Trying to explain the APR is tough, but basically A&M basketball is in pretty dire straights when it comes to graduating players. They got Dash graduated which was huge, but they're still not out of the woods.
Can we get this guy to accidently be on a motorcycle with a former volleyball player and accidently get into a very very minor accident where no one is injured by people go "what's going on here?"
