Opened yesterday. 34,000 square feet and 9 mil.
Compared to our new one: 20,000 square feet and 9 mil.
Theirs is almost double the size but the same price? How does that work.

Doesn't matter. Ours is just as nice, plus we have LJ in there as well.

Daz whuh I wuz bout uh say
Looks the exact same as ours
We copied someone else, cant remember who though.
Sounds like ours has prettier bells and whistles based off of those prices-- not sure if that's true though
Construction prices don't vary that much from here to Bama. Sounds like Bama's is bigger but ours is nicer. We probably have more TV's, nicer light fixtures, more wood flooring, higher end workout equipment, etc...
Great things come in small packages...am I right guys?!? Guys???
Damn, doesn't work here either.
lots of wasted space in theirs and they used cheap materials.
Don't know if Bama has something like this, but we have Elite Form at each platform.
"Inside the new facility, 16 platforms serve as the centerpiece. On each of those platforms, cutting-edge technology is installed in the form of a camera system and an attached tablet where players can sign in with their names and have their workouts recorded for evaluation by Jackson and his staff. The cameras yield data from a player's lift, such as the speed of the lift and how it compares to that player's best lift. All that data can be viewed on the tablet and the video can even be accessed by Jackson on a computer remotely.
The system, installed by a company called Elite Form, only exists at one other Football Bowl Subdivision school currently, according to Jackson: Nebraska."
EliteForm creates integrated technologies that provide the next competitive edge in athletic performance, strength training, competition, and sports science.

that's fuggin xtreme
this is what I meant by technology
Some of y'all are looking at this wrong. It's much better to have a smaller building that costs the same as a bigger one because it means it's much nicer. There's no reason to have a giant, bare bones (comparatively) building if the smaller one suits the needs of the number of players we have and used extra money to dress it up. Everyone has the same number of players. Bigger isn't necessarily better here because our players have plenty of room
I was making a half-hearted attempt at humor. Not really seriously concerned about whose weight room (or anything else is for that matter) is bigger.
It's not the size that counts! It's how you use it!
Exactly. Or at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
I read somewhere about the computer technogy in ours. Coaches can pull up a player and view workouts etc and also I believe it goes over proper form? All I know is ours is pretty badass. If there's something a football players needs or comes out that's new, I'm pretty sure someone will make it happen.
How many helicopters does Bama land on Friday nights?
Yep. Mine, too.
...my story about the weight room, that is. Yeah... Definitely talking about the weight room... Nothing else... Juuust the weight room...
anyone have any info on the new Bama Recruiting Center that they are building. I read about it the other day but not sure where it was.
Bama's is also for all sports, and our new one is only football.
Also, Bama's new weight room is attached to the indoor football facility, meaning it is attached and not totally built from the ground up. There were indoor tennis courts there before, so that may have saved in some of the cost.
Yea ours is way nicer, and the floor of their weight room is kinda tacky
