Seems like this guy really wants to come to A&M. Any chance of some stuff goes down on NSD giving us an open spot, we push for a commit? He would probably flip. I know some don't like him, but IMO he could be good if Larry Jackson gets a hold of him.
Don't want.... Big Baby is not needed....
No. He is to slow. He had his chance.
I'm not saying we should take a commit from him now. The way I understand our situation for 2013 we have a one time pass on rolling more commits back in order to take a larger class. If we fail to fill up the class, then we won't be able to roll back next year (2014 class), so any open spots would be lost. In the event that it looks like we will have an open spot, then who would be a likely NSD flip that is better? If for some reason we are able to roll back in 2014, then I say we don't take him no matter what given the momentum we have going in that class.

He's a pro style lineman. Wouldn't fit in the A&M system
Class of 2010
Larry Jackson. Larry Jackson.
Don't worry about size and speed unless his speed is just putrid, which it isn't. With this S&C coach you have to consider things like length, height, technique, attitude, coachability... Benenoch seems like he really wants to be here but we just don't have a spot for him now. He missed his chance. I agree with Daddy, though. If he would take a gray shirt offer then I think we should consider that because next year's OL class is really bad. We're going to have to go OOS as it is. Either offer Benenoch a gray shirt or tell him to hold on until NSD and see what shakes out with this class- who qualifies or not and if we have any defectors. Maybe he'd get lucky and we could squeeze him in. Otherwise, sorry. Best of luck at UCLA. Not a bad fall back option, IMO.
next year's class has very few worthy guys..
And we could really use about 4-6 stud OL in next year's class... Not a great year for us for the OL talent to be down.
He had his chance... he was too busy being cute on twitter...
soft as charmin
If you want you can follow me on Twitter @dallasaggie12
he is soft. But if you look at 2014. The entire class is sucky..
The OT class isn't too bad, especially if we hit on some OOS targets. I'm worried about some interior guys.
Benenoch is 6'6. 5 star Kansas off Tackles will look at us. To land them, that's a bit harder.
If he wanted to Gray shirt, I would take him. If he didn't want to gray shirt, I wouldn't.
I also stated I would take Lache Seastrunk and most freaked. Well, he's looked awesome for Gaylor this year.
