Of making the tournament? I'm guessing pretty minimal. Probably NIT bound.
I'd say out chances of making the dance are slim but likely a shoe-in for the NIT.... In 2014 that is.
This year about an ice cubes chance in Billy Kennedy's desk chair.
They should make the NIT, they probably only need a winning record.

Weirder things have happened for Tournament runs. But the odds are not good.
I don't think a 20 win Aggie team could make the tourney. Especially with some of our bad losses. And I don't see us making 20 wins in the regular season.
The NCAA tourney flew out the window (barring an SEC tourney championship) with back to back losses against LSU and Georgia.
NIT is very possible and for this team...it's a step in the right direction.
It will be us and Illinois in the NIT championship game. Both will be outside looking in for the NCAA Tourney due to records but having some quality wins (Illinois now has 4 with the win over Indiana, we have road against Kentucky and last night, plus we still get Ole Miss twice). This is my opinion. NCAA has sailed though because Illinois would get taken before us for sure, and I dont think they get in.
Your logic is boggling my mind
A&M has actually been in worse situations before and made it. They had to win their last seven games in 2005 and their last six games in 2008 (I believe) to get in. They'd need to finish like 6-3 and get to the SEC semis or 7-2 and win a game, and they'd probably be close.
There's no real reason to expect they can do that, but there have certainly been weirder things that have happened.
Especially with the overwhelming abundance of mediocrity this year.
Unfortunately, the schizo-ness of this squad will keep it from doing enough to get there.
Honestly in the last few games we have been hitting shots, and playing with a bit more effort. I think that has been pretty evident. There's no reason to think, besides BK, that we cannot compete or win all of our remaining games. Really think what it boils down to is whether our guards are making shots. If Harris is hitting shots, and Caruso and Reese are dishing, then we can at minimal compete to win.
