Washington, Colorado, and Oregon for legalizing weed. Smartest move of the day. They are gonna get so much money off of this.
Did it pass?!?!?
From what I've heard yes. Hopefully more states pass it in the coming years.
It will be interesting to see if the Federal government challenges it in those states.
I would also be interested in seeing how the NCAA deals with this. Could be a big recruiting advantage.
Take it off the dangerous list and put Fed Tax on it. If it comes off the list you will see quick movement to get it on ballots in the other states. Think of the revenue that would be generated here in Texas, it would be better than cigs.
A little sidebar is I have been to functions where, even though I don't smoke, have watched Society Drs, Lawyers, Bankers, and even the CEO of a 4 bil/yr corp toking away. There would be a mass coming out of the closet if this were to happen.

Certainly frees up the prison system some too.
It will be interesting to see how the Federal government handles this. If there is a conflict between federal and state law then federal law wins out. With washingon state passing this prop, if the fed doesn't challenge it then more states will follow. I can't see the fed pursuing this especially with current administration. With that said I present this video.....enjoy!

A young Barack Obama talks about his plans to throw the most inspirational party on campus ever. Watch Key Peele Wednesdays at 10:30/9:30c on Comedy Centra...
Yeah no way Obama fights this with Washington, Oregon, and Cali passing it. Weed could be decriminalized nationally within a decade I bet.
I thought it failed in Oregon?
Just looked it up, didn't pass in Oregon.
Massachusetts legalized medical usage, Arkansas voted down a medical usage prop.
The advantage is there already...how many times do we hear of players getting caught with weed and yet they have passed all of their drug tests? System is crooked and now if players in CO or Washington get caught with it the cops will just pat them on their back and send them on their way. It's already an advantage with or without NCAA acceptance of weed.
Wanna reduce the debt? Legalize it nationally and tax the shit out if it. It's a no-brainer.
How long until Tyrann moves to Washington? Heard Ricky Williams is looking for someone to split the rent with.
Yeah but then everybody gets too stoned to go to work.
Post of the day.
I high-ly doubt that.
Assuming that's a joke.
"Failure is my greatest fear. Yours is probably heights or spiders or some silly shit."
There it is. Best policy we could have.
Millions of people already use it everyday. Why not make a shitload of money off of it?
Agree 100%. I'm as conservative as they come, yet I would support legalization of marijuana.
303! gotta love my home state
i dont think taxing weed would generate enough revenue to reduce the debt though
Not completely but it would be a good start.
it would create jobs.... more goverment jobs, but jobs nonetheless
