Projected against Oklahoma
Great storylines in that matchup with Sumlin's ties to Stoops and Oklahoma.

What do y'all think about that matchup?
I hate to say it, but Texas is two wins away from jumping OU for that spot.

I've actually been to the Fiesta bowl.
Rather see us in the cotton. Either would be great though.
The max two team per conference rule is so absurd. It might be the technicality that keeps us out of the Fiesta. Five SEC teams should be playing in BCS.
I want at least one more BCS bowl birth before they year it all down with playoffs in '14.
Cotton over a BCS bowl? Child please.
Yep. And I love how they said we are the "most marketable... well, have the most marketable player... maybe in all of college football"
If Bama gets back to championship, do we get sugar for bcs instead? Would be awesome to be in nawlins
Fiesta bowl pays $17M. Cotton pays $3.6M.
Any time you get a chance at the BCS bowl you have to take it, we would be a top 10 team to start out next year with a win.
Yes, would need Texas to beat Kansas State and USC to beat Notre Dame. Asuming we are the at large pick in the SEC.
Forget Texas winning. Oregon could lose to Stanford, Oregon st or USC/Ucla
Taylor, do you got some good stuff for us tomorrow in the pulse? Real interested in what the recruits think of the win over Bama.
I hate to say it but I think Texas has a 3 times better chance of beating K State than Oregon losing to anyone in the PAC 12.
How ridiculous would it be if Texas pulled a win out of it's next two games, and we both played for a BCS bowl?
“Honestly [tu's offer] doesn’t really matter though because I won’t go there. I won’t even visit." “I want to play big time ball in the SEC"
You know it! by the way, did you see the recruit reactions article I just posted?
Nope, but will look for it now.
I have a hard time believing that the Sugar Bowl would pick us over a hometown favorite with the same record. It's all about selling tickets. Not that Ags wouldn't travel, but LSU fans could just crawl out of their refrigerator box home beneath the overpass and walk into the stadium.
I also have a hard time believing politics wouldn't be in play. Why help a neighboring state institution when you can help the premier instate one. When the dust settles, its ALL about money. Always has been and always will be.
I disagree. Aggies will sell the house out, plus hotel rooms where they can't just crawl back into their cardboard boxes after. Aggies will be rolling deep with deep pockets. Plus we don't have food stamps
I hadn't thought about the hotel aspect. Good point. The trip for Aggies will also be extended to take in the city. LSU fans have been there so many times, they don't care. It would be like Aggie fans extending a trip to Dallas.
What if the Fiesta Bowl picks Notre Dame over OU. I like that even more.
I want to dominate notre dame. Please
Ross Bowl gets first pick.
No the Bowl that loses the Team that rank #1 in the BCS picks first. If K State is #1 then Fiesta Bowl picks first and if Oregon is #1, then Rose Bowl picks. They said that on ESPN BCS show, Kirt K said he tought Fiesta would pick ND over OU.
I don't understand how anyone would ever elect for the cotton bowl over a BCS bowl. That is easily the dumbest thing I've read on this board and I've seen multiple posts about it. Do us all a favor and stop following A&M football.
