Can we take (regular enrollment) 3 more?
And also take (early) 3 more?
Who would you sub in/out? Is there room for a 4th in either/both categories? I really want Alexander as well. Imagine getting him and then Collins, Harvey, Adams, Brown and 1 more next year. Plus Hoza and the Gilmer kid to go with the LB's from this year.
Alexander for manning, mostly cause I think Manning is gone but how would we have so many spots left? Whatever, just glad I'm not the one to figure out. In Sumlin I trust
Well that's one down. Great! Who else? Daddy, you have an opinion?
At this point we better hope Griffin, Davis, and Huggins don't qualify. Don't know how the hell Feb numbers are going to work.
I want griffin to qualify. I'd rather have to trap door others.
Need to figure out the situation with points and chevis rolling back... Im not sure how it plays out if one or both dont roll back to last years class...
No way I would ever hope Griffin and Huggins don't make it. Those are freaks. Freaks of the freaks.
Also, I must admit I dont know how the multi sport schollies work. Why cant Griffin just get a BB ship and play football during the offseason. Wouldnt he then count toward the BB number and not the football numbers?
If you play football, your scholarship counts against the football limit, regardless of any other sports you play.
Negative. On scholi playing and playing football must be on football scholi. Can't be on other sport scholarship Per NCAA.
"Failure is my greatest fear. Yours is probably heights or spiders or some silly shit."
I hope Williams is next. Stud and he's an early enrollee.
It's about to be a flurry of decisions, either for us or against us. RSJ, Manning, JaQuay, Za'Darius.
I think we go at least 3/4 on that group.
Obviously I don't want them to not qualify, but with the way our coaches are recruiting for Feb signees, THEY better hope they're right about certain grade situations. Who do you cut if you have 28 kids wanting to sign in Feb?
I know we've done this before, but can someone list the commits so far who are **expected** to be mid-term enrollees? All of the JUCOs + Sezer, Points, Chevis. Others? Thanks.
Some difficult decisions would be made and a kid or two might be asked to gray shirt. Sumlin recruits like Saban. Get all the badass kids and players you can. Sort through the numbers as needed.
read the Bear's State of the union
but I am starting to feel as it gets closer to signing day, we may get McKenzie Alexander

How often is this really done by big programs and what does it then do to relationships with High School coaches? My understanding is that you avoid it at all cost due to the damage and lack of trust it can create in the network of high school coaching.
Jeremiah Stuckey, Jordan Points, Alex Sezer, Kenny Flowers, Brett Wade, Cameron Clear, and Reggie Chevis.
Za'Darius Smith and JaQuay Williams seem like the top candidates for spots eight and nine, but then who would be on everyones wish list for the final two mid-term spots?

Ok, that's 2 from the midterm list. Still pursuing Z Smith and maybe T Sanders. Taking both would be 10 mid term guys, I think. Some debate about whether 9 is the ceiling.
1. Jeremiah Stuckey
2. Jordan Points
3. Alex Sezer
4. Kenny Flowers
5. Brett Wade
6. Cameron Clear
7. Reggie Chevis
8. JaQuay Williams
9. Za'Darius Smith
10. Tommy Sanders
I think we take 3-4 more commits from HS kids:
