Fvck you, we aren't implementing your healthcare.
SEC SEC SEC!!!
He announced it last night, but I'll try to find it. Seven states have refused it now.
Here you go.
Texas Gov. Rick Perry said Monday he will not implement provisions such as the Medicaid expansion and the insurance exchanges. The decision could mean that Texas ultimately loses an opportunity to cover half of its uninsured residents and relinquishes to the federal government more control over its health care system.
Rick perry isn't the best sometimes, but damn I love him for stuff like this
“If anyone had any doubt, we wanted to put it clearly to bed that Texas wasn’t going to be a part of expanding socializing of our medicine,” he said. “So we’re not going to participate in any exchanges. We’re not going to expand Medicaid.”
Hahaha, f you obama.
Liberals love the concepts of Darwinism and survival of the fittest, but when it comes to people, everything has to be equal. Good for Perry, I'm glad he made this call.
Texas is already one of the worst states when it comes to healthcare coverage. Now it might beat out some place like Mississippi or Louisiana for being the worst. Yay! How lucky for Texans to have Governor Good Hair.
He also refused to allow the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to implement the greenhouse gas requirements of the Clean Air Act, even after the Supreme Court ruled in favor of regulating and authorized the EPA to implement regulation. Considering that Houston and Dallas metro areas have some of the worst air pollution in the country, you would think Governor Good Hair might get a clue. Instead, he's told the EPA to take a hike. Yay!
Now Texans can choke from bad air, and won't get needed healthcare because.. well, we're Texans and nobody tells us what to do, we know exactly how to go to hell all by ourselves! :)
Yay. Perry throws the baby out with the bath water. He showed Obama!
Also, to be sure, if you look at overall federal funding, Texas gets more federal funds flowing into the state than it sends to D.C., meaning taxpayers from other states often pick up the tab for Texas. Now with this Medicaid federal matching funds potentially going away, that equation might change.
I find it hard to believe a quarter of the state can't afford healthcare. That just seems outrageous for a state with a good economy as far as I can tell. I could be wrong though as I don't live in a metro area and wasn't aware of the bad air and such.
a quarter of the state cant speak english.
The additional funding goes away in 17 anyway. You really think the state will be better off at that point? He is really just preventing the federal govt from spending more money that they don't have, while saving a future headache in this state for 3 yrs of funds.
This expansion is an unfounded mandate if states accept it.
What AggieChem and Outlandos said. Gov. Perry is, as he has repeatedly shown, an effing buffoon.

I also forgot to add that this is why Obamacare is STUPID! It will create more problems through a "Healthcare for all" slogan. Healthcare cost are high because of a lack of competition in who pays for it and no true consumer marketplace. Create that and everyone will benefit! Fuckers like our POTUS need to quit acting like you can get everything for nothing. Everything costs something to someone and when people start to realize what things cost then they alone can determine whether or not they want to pay for it!

50% of those people not just including African but also Hispanic and white are jobless because they are just plain lazy! They do not want to work! People cry cuz they don't have jobs but Texas for example is filled with jobs especially because of the oilfield boom!!
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It is already tomorrow in Australia. - charles m Schulz
Right, Hispanics are known to be lazy... Right. stereotype much?
And daddy quoting Allen west? Credibility of post was low from there on...
And USMC, I know you are not against government healthcare.... Right?
This is pathetic. Ahcoo says "African but also Hispanic and white...are jobless because they are... lazy", but somehow you interpreted that as Hispanics are lazy. People like you disgust me. Typical liberal distortion. F'ing hell, I wish you guys would start your own country to ruin, and quit trying to ruin ours.
And no, this is not some racist rant, I'm Mexican-American. So f off before you even start down that road.
Lastly, if you are referring to USMC because he was in the military, then try to think before you open your mouth. He EARNED his coverage, and he is not sitting around looking for a handout like so much of the democratic base.

You been to SA lately?
Fattest damn city I have ever lived in.
I wish there was a way to have your 247 display the liberals next to their names so we can ignore their thoughts on how to ruin our country
ct is a great man and great Ag.
I'll tell you a better way to ruin our country: by being in an echo chamber.
That's what most Americans have become used to by only listening to those they already agree with. Which is why we're going down the path of ruin...we're talking past each other, and the politicos and uber rich are enjoying the entertainment at our (the dwindling American middle class) expense.
