If you could buy any gun under $2000 what would you get and why? Please leave the politics off this thread
For home defense, I chose a 9mm, 995TSFGFL-LAZ Black with forward grip, flashlight, & laser, ships from Florida on Friday. With extra mag and FFL costs, about $450
- I feel safer using this than, a 9mm pistol as my home self defense.
Concealed Carry, I went with a Beretta 22LR, just under $300

I absolutely love my 12ga Binelli Super Black Eagle II, came in around $1700, but I am a duck hunter and it is tried and true.

Beretta cx4 storm. Might be my favorite gun that I've shot
Nice what cal?
What is the gun for? Deer or bird hunting, home defense, fun?
I would build the AR that I am currently building. 300 AAC BLK with a 12.5" barrel.
Or I would buy a nice long range big game rifle like a 300 mag.
M2 Browning .50 cal machine gun.
SEC SEC SEC!!!
for 2 grand?
I was thinking along the lines of an AR15, AK47, sig 556, etc. The dems are out on this thread with down votes
He said anything I wanted for under 2k, that's what I want. Not realistic, but that's what I want.
Dude that sounds so sweet, I just got my first AR with red dot and fore grip. I understand the ammo is a little high.
Thx CoachCharlie, I've been starting to shop in advance of my departure from NYC. I like that carbine. Good price point, too!
for 300 AAC BLK ammo is around $11.75 for a box of 20 125 grain & $20 a box for 220 grain subsonic.
All the supersonic stuff is currently on back order though.
I've seen some videos of the subsonic suppressed and the gun is super quiet and also packs a punch at 220 grain, a very interesting blend of stealth and energy.
You can't find them on retail shelves right now, found a dealer who was getting a drop shipment of 5 tomorrow and locked in on it. Working with Steve Master http://sharynmastersports.com/
The price, reviews, reliability, & cost of .9mm ammo, had me sold.
Does anyone know if there are any stripped lower receivers available anywhere? It seems like they have all disappeared from every gun shop in America...? And I would love to be able to grab two of them so I can build an AR now, and save one for my 1.5 year old son.
Not familiar, but is this what you're talking about
300 weatherby mark V wood stock with ebony ends for a rifle, shotgun, browning A-5 sweet 16 belgium mad. Old school classics.
I would buy a handgun, a shotgun, and a assault rifle
glock .40 450
Remington 7 round shotgun 300
Remington 700bdl with scope 450
ak 47 800
go to Gunshow with 2 g's in cash, have fun

Great info here. I'm not familiar with hi-point firearms. How much experience do you have with them?
That looks awesome. How does that compare to a standard AR15 5.56? Can you buy those or do you have to build them?
This will be my first. Their earlier models were, not so attractive looking. Reviews all over the place are solid for them, tough, durable, made in 100% from American parts & assembled here. Going with an NcSTAR Green Laser beam.
This young man gives a quick break down of the rifle.
Extremely accurate up to around the 100 yard mark from what I've read.
