“When I went to that other university, that was definitely a business decision.”
SEC SEC SEC!!!
Don't know why this topic went VIP, but mediaguy nailed it:
Oh lord. He's feeding red meat to the fans. You'd do the same. Give it a rest. No reason to be surprised...or thin skinned about it.
Yeah. What do Aggies expect him to say..."my one year at Texas A&M was the greatest time of my life and you Red Raiders all missing out by not experiencing Aggieland"?
He won that presser by establishing his love for Tech and taking that awesome potshot at Tuberville.
Yeah, I understand that he needs to appease the masses over there. And he certainly didn't wear any maroon in games while working for us.
He did a good job while here, but now my brain doesn't have to fight the urge to hate KK any longer. I was at A&M while he was QB at tceh, and I really couldn't stand him then - especially since I went to the road games up in LaButtock and dealt with all of the wonderful fans there after we lost.
Now we can leave him in a trail of dust and move onward to even bigger and better things...
Oh I don't know. Doesn't bother me any.
But I think it's an inmature approach and that's one of the things that you wonder about the guy. Is he mature enough at this point in his career to be a head coach? Seems that's a question you would want answer, not promulgate.
Never go full raider.
LOL! He is a great fit for Tech because you have to push the envelope to get kids out to Lubbock. KK has to be a trash talker or else no one will care about that program. Sumlin, Miles, Stoops can use subtle trash talk, but KK has to be much more obvious about it.
