Aubrey - You have to admit that one sign looks like a leftover from the Strawberry Festival.
Well, I get why they wanted to put a sign there because it's the exit off of I-10, but anything they put there was going to look small and lame because of how big that rock Kerrville sign is. It does look pretty lame though. The ones over the street aren't bad and there's a billboard between Kerrville and Center Point (where my grandparents live and NOBODY DRIVES EVER) that's not bad.
Drove past it again today on my way out to Mountain Home and it looks like they just took an old texDOT sign tied it to some T-posts and hung the JFF sign over the front of it. Surely they will make something a little more long term soon.
to be fair, it's Kerrville, there's a decently good chance that that's exactly what they did.
