Just heard on Galloway and Company the Horns told the Cotton Bowl Committee they would decline the invitation if the match up was against us.
Seriously what a bunch of puzzies.
It is because they know they would get beat and they would lose even more recruiting ground to us.
Haha that is unreal.. They don't have to worry because we won't be in the Cotton Bowl anyway
ur kidding right, that's hilarious
Your logic is boggling my mind
You can't be serious, link?
Doubt they would make this public.. We could use it as a selling point.
No links gents it was just one of Randy's last comments on today's show. Just listened to it again and it was Chuck Cooperstein; said his sources told him that but didn't name them. Randy said he is going to dig into it so who knows.
Here is the link:
About 5:56 pm is when it comes up
So why not call their bluff if you're the Cotton Bowl...I'm not saying I want that matchup but if you're a bowl and you don't want to get pushed around like that then you publicly invite them and make them publicly decline.
Easy way out of being embarrassed in a bowl game.
lol no way in hell they can be that butthurt.
I'm sure they'll have a "scheduling conflict" that keeps them from accepting the bid.
I listened to it and the guy definitely said something along the lines of
"Coop said that UT told the Cotton Bowl that if it was them they did not want to play A&M."
I have been trying to see "where" this Coop guy said that, but I can't find it. This would be absolutely hilarious.
It's chuck cooperstien from the Coop and Nate show 2-3pm every afternoon. I typically don't listen to them because Nate newton is unbearable on the radio and I prefer finebaum until Randy Galloway comes on.
Breaking news!! Texas has accepted an early invite to play ole miss in the independence bowl in Shreveport. Contingent upon ole miss choking and not getting a bowl bid but they attempted to battle an sec team in a bowl. Will now settle for the ragin Cajuns instead
I can't believe anyone would employ Nate Newton.
This is true,I also heard the Galloway show driving home from work
A&M should release an announcement that A&M will accept any bowl invitation as long as our opponent is t.u..
This just makes sense as it make them look extremely weak.
Is this for real? It makes no sense that they would actually release something like that.
I wonder if you they would turn down a BCS Bowl if they did win out and had to play us in Fiesta?
Galloway also said that bar none, A&M is "The team everybody wants for their bowl, including Notre Dame, Alabama, LSU, Texas, etc. Everybody wants Johnny Football in their bowl."
Galloways daughter is an Ag too so apart from his usual sarcasm he is famous for he is usually pretty pro-Ag. if you can sift through the typical bs. That being said if anyone in DFW sports media can find hard proof of this it's Ole Randy
can you spell " arrogant bastards" =tu
huge amount of crap from tu bunch about how our success is going to impact their recruiting and they really need to hire a super dynamic coach to neutralize the impact.
BULLSHIT....make that steershit!
auburn was their first choice
You sure? I thought I heard him say that his daughter was a sip. Could have more than one I guess though.
This sounds made up. No way tu says that/lets it get out.
