Well, another signing day has come and gone, and we wanted to take a second to thank all of you guys who allow us to do what we do. In the last year we've grown by almost 50%, and even more than that when you factor in message board posters who aren't VIP members. We've crossed several major milestones this past year, and we're pretty far ahead of where our projections (even the ones we adjusted last year) expected us to be at this time. We continue to improve our end of the product, and you guys continue to bring more people into the community.
We never forget that you guys are our biggest sellers, and that's why we're so focused on being active with the community. Very rarely do questions go unanswered on the board, and you'll never see us just post information and then leave the board. There are plenty of options for news in this market, and even though we are usually first, being first isn't the most important thing in news any more. What does the news mean for Texas A&M? Why is this important? These are the questions that matter, and we want to be the best in the market on that front as well. We're not perfect on that yet, but we've figured out more and more what it is that you guys want out of this site.
Now, while some sites may take a step back after signing day, that's not going to be the case for us. Last year, A&M was near 20 commits even before the summer hit, so you guys know that when it comes to recruiting, spring is probably the busiest time of the year down here in Texas. The cornerstones of A&M's class were set last spring, when the Aggies picked up commitments from Isaiah Golden, Laquvionte Gonzalez, and Ishmael Wilson, all before the end of March. We’re expecting A&M to be at least half way done with their class by the end of the summer. We'll have coverage of junior days, spring evaluation period and the camp circuit coming up over the next couple of months. It's also already less than a month from spring football. We'll also of course be bringing you coverage of basketball, and baseball gets started next Friday.
I would like to remind everyone that we first introduced “The Savage” and Sebastian LaRue this time last year so this is still a great time to follow A&M recruiting-- as Sumlin and his staff will continue to recruit nationally. While they didn't land Savaiinaea on NSD, we're expecting A&M to land prospects of his caliber next year, like they did with LaRue in 2013. With help from the 247Sports network, and Taylor’s prodigious sources, GigEm247 will undoubtedly have the best recruiting coverage on all these “high profile” prospects outside the Lone Star State.
I'd also like to take a second to quickly remind you guys about the annual membership option to GigEm247. Many of you have already taken advantage of this and gotten access to our text alerts. That is a product that Aubrey and I are starting to figure out how to best use, and will be taking much more advantage of this upcoming year. So if you get that tax return back, you might consider sneaking away a little bit of it to upgrade your membership.
Finally, 247Sports has come a long way in a short time, and we have some big stuff planned for this next year. We posted some of the new products headed your way on the board the other day (http://tamu.247sports.com/Board/20/247Sports-Product-Update-Please-Read-16508160/1), but one that didn't make it on there that we're excited about is the "rankings history" of each player in the database. For you rankings conspiracy gurus, now will be your chance to compile the data to prove it . Remember that we've only been around for about two and a half years now, and we've already made a big splash in this industry, and we're only going to continue to get better from here.
Thank you for reading this, and we just wanted to take a second to show our appreciation for you guys and let you know what's headed your way before we get so busy with the spring recruiting season and spring football here in a few weeks. You guys are why we're here, and without your support.

I like it when you speak in third person Taylor.
SEC SEC SEC!!!
We need a poll or voting feature please. Thanks

And that's the bottom line because HAMMBONE said so!
The good service, analysis of the news, first to report the news, and inside info are some of the reasons I subscribe. Keep up the good work.
thanks for all the hard work this past year, boys. My annual membership will certainly stay. Looking forward to continuous improvement as well.
Good work fellas.
I'll do my best to try less this year.
I think the shifting point-of-view is interesting, and an approach Hamm should take in his writing more often. Who is speaking here if not real Hamm? Are we inside the mind of meta-Hamm? If so, does he approve of all the things real-Hamm does? These are the hard questions that Hamm has made us face. A modern Canterbury Tales if you ask me.
Please make it to where .gifs play automatically when a page loads.
I like the new features that are coming soon too.
"You guys are why we're here, and without your support..." man, Taylor really does leave you on the edge of your seat every time.
In all seriousness, love the enhancements to the site and looking forward to being a 247er 4 lyfe.
Please... like Hamm could have written that beautiful prose.
I want to thank you Aubrey for being there at the basketball games.
Not as successful as the football team, but nonetheless a roller coaster adventure every week!
I've also upgraded my computer situation recently so spring/fall videos and gameday stuff should be quite a bit better going forward. I was using a Acer Aspire Netbook the last two years... now I'm on the MacBook game, looking forward to trying out a few things in spring practice.
@THamm, Why are you finding it necessary to reaffirm , we, we, we, with each n every write up? Let your actions speak....Proverbs 27, 1,2 JMO
"We" is in reference to Aubrey and I.
Great site Hamm. I hope you and Aubs keep it rolling. I didn't renew on any other sites. All of my eggs are in the 247 basket.

I've been a long-time subscriber since the mid-90s to A&M recruiting services and then several years ago, I lost interest in the overhyped recruiting and constantly losing to tu and OU (and the recession), and I vowed never to pay for information again. But I was just too enticed by the free stuff available at 247 and I finally broke down and subscibed. It was well worth the money and I will be renewing. Thanks for adding to an incredible season, and not letting off the gas as 2013 has begun.
You guys rock. My boss is a paying member of Billy's site (and follows it religiously). There's hardly ever a week that goes by that I don't get to scoop him with surface information and provide a lot of the deeper info on a particular subject that he hasn't heard. Keep up the great work!!
Showboating. That's Aubrey's middle name.
From IH-35 to IH-10... what then?
Aubrey and Hamm - thank you. You guys do a great job and it is appreciated.
