Waived earlier today. Somewhere, Colt is mourning for his broke back pal.
I don't actually wish failure on many people.
He's one of them though.
Why do I get the feeling Tannehill will be throwing to him within a week?..
Haha, same here
His knees are done.
"I like Bears and if you're going to be a bear, UMMMMM, BE A Grizzley"
He didn't get arrested enough.
I actually am not a Shipley hater. I didn't care for McCoy, or Shipley's awful singing, but as a player, I liked him.
I would have guessed a better NFL career out of Shipley than McCoy, if you had asked me three years ago.
he ended up playing much longer in college... got to be an old man in the League, thus cutting short this pro career! ;)
wasn't he at UT like 7 years or something! ;) haha
We'll see if a little more time rehabbing gets his speed back. The guy has been a warrior and has such a knack for route running and catching the football but, boy his body has been ravaged by injuries. Will make a fine coach one day. I don't know how anyone could dislike Jordan unless you simply hate every Longhorn ... which I could understand if I were an Aggie or a Sooner.
I don't hate the kid as much as I hated the hype around him and his qb while they were in college. It was nauseating and way over the top.
When he started going to CS to pick fights with Aggies (and their families) after McGee committed to the good guys, I knew I would hate him for life. Don't regret my decision.
I hate him because he's a cocky tool. Don't hate every longhorn at all. Nathan vasher comes to mind as a guy I respect greatly.
Shipley is trash.
When you look at what happened without Ship and Colt, or just Colt for that matter, I think it's pretty easy to see why there was some "hype" surrounding them. To make it to the championship with only two good offensive players and a suspect offensive line is actually a pretty decent accomplishment.
Eh, the big12 was awful. That's Texas' entire strategy since Mack Brown knows less about actual football than a typical high school coach.
Win with a weak schedule and pray for luck in the championship game.
Love the holier than thou attitude.
Hope he has a horrible life.
I didn't get a "holier than thou attitude" out of that. I took it as him just saying since those two schools are both big rivals.
Maybe posting's just not your game. I know, let's have a spelling contest.
