Mr. America, politician, good ol' boy, look you in the eye and lie, "Ive never cheated", Mack Brown,
is going senile, everybody knows it, last year he threw his players and coaches under the bus, this year I bet he shows that true sip arrogance and trys to blame something on Dodds.
Hes done, hes toast, and he will go down in flames. Cant wait to see what stupid chit he does next.
This thread is so awesome I just had to come back and read it again.
I think you're right-he's lost his security blankets
yellertuth is a true man of honor and integrity...I should know because I am the Pope.
" Manziel is “a good kid, an honest kid. He has his heart in the right place.”
Chancellor, Texas A&M
the funniest part of it all is the a**hats seem so sure & confident they won't miss a beat next year as if 5-7, with tons of 'top 10' talent & complete total coaching overhaul never happened
I mean they're not even in 'wait & see' mode, at least of a lot of what I read from their boards
as much of a DeRuyter homer I was before Tim was hired, as 'sure' as I thought he would be a home run DC hire I was still 'wait & see' going into last year due to the fact it was a new staff & we flat stunk hard on defense the year before
their arrogance is crossed over into delusion, there is no doubt, I used to think we had the most delusional fanbase
that is until I witnessed sip in action
I'm cautiously optimistic that their troubles will continue.
I find it hilarious that they blew up their program after one bad season.
You guys keep talkin' and pumpin' yourselves up and we will see who is delusional on Thanksgiving. Our coaches and players needed to be thrown under the bus. It coming from Brown was especially symbolic as he is usually the consummate gentleman. To think we are going to be worse than last year I think may play into this web of ignorance you are spinning.
No doubt Mack is the king of motivational strategy....
By throwing his players and coaching staff under the bus publicly, he was able to right the ship and save the season by finishing strong.
That's what being a great head coach is all about--getting the most out of your team!
I'm just going to try and apply some logic here.
You think your coaches AND players were bad last year, but think an overhaul of the staff will definitely lead to a righting of the ship even though you are working with the same players?
At the same time, we went 9-4, lost very few starters, return our entire staff, but you are sure you guys will beat us this year?
By the way, we don't play on Thanksgiving. Does your Texas State 2011 calendar not reflect that?

your completely overhauled, 5-7 tu a**hat squad is going to come into Kyle F***ing Field next year when we will be BETTER from last year & take us
bwaahahahaha, now that's delusion
bring it f***in puzzies, A&M is going to stomp the biggest mudhole in your cowardly a**es, I will remember "Sundance", believe me
arrogance breeds denial and the sips have both. They fail to realize that there is a historical paradigm shift taking place on the 40 acres and NO program has ever been able to immediately recover. WARNING: don't let that pendulum hit you in the ass sippers.
LOL you aggies have 1 good year and you think you are King!! Texas has one bad year and we are gonna be own forever!! And you all say Texas has a deluded fanbase. You sheep humpers are too much!
If a bullfrog had wings, it wouldn't bump its ass
The oddsmakers have Texas at +2000 to win the MNC and A&M at +3000.
Mack probably payed them off though.
"We are gonna be own forever"
LOL - typical sip fan. Hows that GED working out for you?
f*** off cowards
it's not about A&M being 'the king' as much as tu being a delusional bunch of group felaters sitting in a big circle sucking each other off acting like nothing happened last year
Vegas f***ing odds, that's your ammo, try every pre-season f***ing poll you diklick
No need to quit being a lady, there, Kspoon. But if you read correctly, everybody is talking about 2011 exclusively. I understand how you gentle types get can get all irrational and all, though.
Remember to cross your legs when you see the scoreboard at Kyle this year,
Check out the early polls. A&M in the top 10 of almost all of them. Texas shows up as 15-20 based solely on history.

If it was an off year, why fire your entire staff?
Typical sip entitlement. The entire nation witnessed on national television an underclass laden Aggie O-line and Cyrus Gray manhandle a Texas front 7 full of upperclassmen to the tune of 240 yards(well I lied 238). A defense in its first season in a new system hold tu to 17 total points. And now you claim that even after tu had to fall back on their 3rd and 4th options at new positions coaches will some how find the Rosetta Stone of team chemistry and beat us. Texas may very well make a game of it but shouldn't yall be a little bit more humbled about the situation after going 5-7. Before coming on other boards and setting yourselves up to look like complete jackasses and fools why don't yall practice a little humility it may serve you well.
One good season at A&M = we will be 80s good from now on
One bad season in Austin = going to suck from now on.
The coaching issues on the offensive side had been apparent in Austin for quite a while they just happen to have had 2 of the best college QBs of this era, back to back, to hide it. In 2004, Greg Davis had at his disposal 4 future NFL OL on his OL, VY, Ced. Benson, Selvin Young, Dave Thomas, Ahmard Hall, and Limas Sweed(that is 10 NFLers) and got shut out by OU . Ouch. After that game they scrapped Davis' offense and let VY run his high school's zone read. VY then won 21 straight including the NC the next year. In 2010 Davis' offense reappeared sans talent.

first off, this has NOTHING to do with A&M & our season last year, stop dragging it in this
secondly, please explain the succes under McCoy or the success the had under everyone not named Vince Young, I mean you do realize just one year prior tu was playing for the NC
third, this isn't "tu is going to suck", this is, "how is that group of tin foil hat wearers not even in 'wait & see' mode & act like last year never happened", that's what it's about, actually showing some humility & maybe just maybe being on the fence until you see what might happen with group of coaches who have never coached together nor a certain group of players, I don't know, call me crazy
A&M is trending up, 4-8, 6-7, 9-4 in three years & now a likely top 10, maybe 12 ranking going into next year. We also see the kind of improvements being made by our players, scheme, development etc etc it's not all about reading records either.
We're not "there" either, we're getting there & believe we're on the right path but we're not "there" yet as much as you like to accuse every Ag of thinking
But back to point, this is about tu showing some humility for a second & maybe not being the typical overly arrogant (insecure) a**hats they can be & show a little humility after 5-7 & staff overhaul
this is the kind of chit I'm talking about:
"I'm very excited about the new team. I doubt very seriously that Texas goes into the OU game with a loss. Who would they lose to? I only 3 teams that are on the schedule that have a chance to beat Texas next year (0U, OSU, and A&M). I only think one will just being realistic".
so it's "realisitic" after going 5-7 & a completely overhauled staff as well as brand new OC's & DC's to go 11-1 right out of the box?
Texags had JJ winning the Heisman in the off season last year with a 6-7 record the previous season. Fan is short for fanatic.
Colt was included in the the statement regarding 2 of best college QBs of this era back to back hiding Davis' poor play calling. They left the spread option in place for Colts 1st 2 years before going pure spread.
Sherman is building things the right way by concentrating on both lines foremost.
Well, if Texags determines how all Aggies are judged, then you are right, all Aggies are idiots.
My point is all fans bases have some overly optimistic fans.
Only a few teams every year are as good as their fans think or as bad as opponents' fans think.
