Apparently he took a pic of himself with a bunch of money inside a casino (you only have to be 18+ to gamble there) and then later decided it wasn't a good idea and deleted the tweet/pic but not before the Steve Kerr morality police started a firestorm.

there's another one of him tonight with a dj and it looks like he's holding a bottle of something he shouldn't be.

Your logic is boggling my mind
Dude gonna have to find a median, no one else has had this type of success while having eligibility to worry about...a la most famous ass 20 yr olds that are awesome dont have the weight of a school on their back..... btw that is welchs sparkling grape juice
Ole' Johnny don't care. As Jay Z would say, he's just brushin the haters off.
He does need to chill a lil bit though IMO.
odds of that pic showing up on espn?? i'd say very high. i mean, come on.
Dude. He needs to quit this kind of thing. Putting pics like that out there is just begging for the NCAA to come snooping around your program. Whether he's clean or not, you don't want the NCAA looking at you. Sumlin should really put an end to this.
Might be OK to drink on the reservation for 20 y.o.?
I don't care that the money is legit he has to make better decisions. The media and message boards are going to have a field day with this. Get ready for a roller coaster ride.
Sumlin is going to have a lot of sleepless nights before JFF's career is over. It's been 1 day and he has already brought un needed attention to himself. It will be hard for him to avoid these kinds of situations but he has to have more self control. It's going to be a long off season.

Yeah, but it's Oklahoma, so it's only 3.2
I think Johnny is going to be a blessing and a curse. I am not against him having money and fame, thats all good. I am not against a college football student having fun with girls and alcohol. I am more concerned with what's good for Johnny and the A&M Football program. Like it or not after winning the Heisman he has a target on his back and he will have that for life. So sorry, Johnny but "not ready for the burden were you". You are going to have live up to that Heisman and not down. If A&M is going to compete for the MNC Johnny is going to change his ways and put the team before his own desires or its all all a facade. Sumlin is the only person that can change the dynamic.
I think his parents and advisers ought to speak to him about putting his entire life out on social media. He is a celebrity now and needs to realize that there are many people out there who want to see him fail.
I think it's important that we hire a QB coach that can be a strong enough presence to keep JFF in check, by being able to relate to him. It seemed like KK had that "cool" image, that Manziel looked up to and respected at the same time. Seemed like KK had the "work hard play hard" thing going on and so does Manziel. KK also knows what it is to be the big man on campus in a college town (although not to the same extent as JFF). I think that may end up being the biggest loss we see from KK going to Tech.
Nobody has ever been a bigger "man on campus" than Johnny and that's what concerns me for the team.
18 yo can gamble in casinos in OK .....of all places
It's only drama because dramatic A&M fans keeping posting about it .... jesus, people.
Yeah, I agree. If you are truly concerned then don't post the damn pic yet again. SMH.

None of this **should** be a big deal (settle down, morality police), but the comment about some people/the media wanting him to fail is an important one. The easiest way to frustrate these people is to give them nothing to talk about. They always say....the media builds someone up, then tries to tear them down.
Damn those A&M fans for taking that pic and then posted on twitter....
He's getting job interviews for 30 million dollar contracts that could come in the next 1-3 years and those contracts come with more than just on the field performance.
Maybe it's not fair.. But he's under public scrutiny... He's also a role model and if he wants to get endorements and carry a good name, he needs to watch it.
Looks like it might be $1500-$2000 if those are all hundreds.
Not that big of a deal. The players get an extra scholarship for staying on campus over the break. They also get a bowl stipend to pay for food and stuff. He also gets $500 worth of free stuff from the cotton bowl.
Say he saved some of his money (like the young savvy stud he is) then went and played.
Again, not a big deal and not very difficult math to figure that out.
Win we shall, yes we can, yes we will.
