who yall got in your Elite 8, Final 4, and Championship?
Eggies to the Final 4 is all that matters.
...who the heck seriously knows except God, and Sumlin. ~ Aggiemom6
I'm doing multiple brackets but I'll use the one I named in honor of T-Hamm, "BDub's #ScoopTruck".
I got Lville/Mich. St, Mich/Gtown, Wisc/NM, and Indy/TheU in my elite 8. I have Lville/NM and Gtown/TheU in the final 4, and The U over Louisville for the NC. Unfortunately, I had to eliminate my beloved Butler Bulldogs in the sweet 16. In general, The U and Louisville are my favorites to make the final, and I think the South and West regions are wide open, but neither will produce a champ. The Ole Miss/Wisc matchup is very interesting because I really think Marshall Henderson could be one of those March Madness heroes, but Wisconsin got hot late. Whoever wins that could make a run. I have Mich and Gtown making the elite 8 in this bracket, but have them both getting upset early in my other brackets. Just some thoughts of mine. I haven't followed college basketball in depth this year, but I do know that its been a crazy year, and anything can happen in the tourney this year.
Wisconsin is built for the tourney. I wouldn't take ole miss over them.
I like this LVille team to win it all. They are too good, but there are a lot of teams that could jump up and upset someone this year. Watch out for the Zags, they have some solid wins, but they play a crappy conference for the most part.
I love butler, always will. Coaching is key in the tourney and they have it in spades.
IMO this thing is wide open, but I really think the big ten will show it's strength.
I've been burnt by Georgetown so many times that I can't pick them to make a final four. They always seem to have a top ten team but can't even make a sweet sixteen. I think I'm taking Duke to win it all.
Ole Miss will get trounced by Wisconsin.
Middle Tennessee State is my sleeper pick.
I have Duke getting bounced by Creighton in round II.
Bucknell over Butler and Cal over UNLV.
Louisville vs. Mich St.
Ohio State vs. Wisconsin
Kansas vs Georgetown
Indiana vs. Miami
Louisville vs. Ohio St
Georgetown vs. Miami
Louisville over U 74-68
I really want to do something with Kansas St. and Florida but right now can't seem to get either past the second round. Anyone have some stat or nugget of info to push me over on them?
Miami will get dropped by Illinois in the second round. Also thinking about taking Oregon and UCLA to make a sweet 16
When I look at the Midwest I have L'ville getting bumped by Okie St, who plays a really balanced Duke team. With Duke winning that.
In the West I've got a pretty solid defensive team in Ohio State over a hot Wisconsin team.
In the South I've got Kansas/VCU (I can't decide at the moment because that might be the game of the tourney) vs San Diego St. With the Kanas/VCU winner advancing.
In the East I've got Indiana playing the most well coached team in hoops, Butler, with Butler advancing.
In the Final 4 that leaves me Duke vs Ohio State and Kansas/VCU vs Butler. I'll take Duke vs Kansas/VCU with Duke winning
Stewart Mandel said that is the 5th time in 7 years that Wisconsin has lost to a lower seed.
I'm never taking Wisconsin again. Bo Ryan has fucked me to many times.
