Well I got a transfer to San Antonio with my company and I must say I am damn excited to get out of Lubbock. Does anybody have any advice on a good area to live? The job location is kind of by an area called Castle Hills and the fiancee will be going to grad school at UTSA. Also if you live in San Antonio what do you think of the city?
Considering you're moving from Lubbock, it's a freakin' upgrade from God. Stone Oak is a good area. It's about 10-15 minutes from UTSA and the same to La Cantera. The further south you go, the more it starts to look like Mexico. The River Walk is gross. Overall, it's a good place to live.

Stone Oak is a messy disaster traffic wise.
Long time since I lived there, but look at a neighborhood called, "Whispering Oaks". Older, but good location for where you'll be and your fiancee will work.
I love San Antonio, hope you are Spurs fan because the whole city loves them. I would look for something between I10 and 281 south of loop 1604, Shavano Park (City within the city) on Military Highway is a awesome area if you are planning on starting a family, Great Schools, awesome police, awesome people. Castle Hills has some cool areas as well.
