We have a family member who recently became ill that can no longer take care of her dog. His name is Max and he needs a home soon or he will be put down. I can tell you guys personally this is an amazing pet that is house trained, has all his shots and will make a family very happy. Please contact me via PM if you or anyone you know can help place Max in a good home. He's in Cypress, Texas right now but the owner would be willing to travel to ensure he's got a roof over his head.

I don't know of anyone but have they tried putting it for free on Craig's list?
If this was 6 months from now, I would be very interested. I'll try asking around for you though.
I'll ask around...
Age/Breed? I don't know much about dogs..
I think he's around 7 years old. He's a lab/pointer mix.
I'd be happy to help put him down.
Cameron you are quickly becoming one of my favorite posters
When you say "roof over his head" do you mean he actually needs to be an inside dog?
I might know somebody that would love to have him, but he would most likely be an outside dog.
You are either going to be a leader or not. to be a leader, you throw your shoulders back, tits to the sky, head up, cock out.
Definitely not strictly an inside dog. His previous owners allowed him to sleep inside at night but he was mainly in and out of their house all day.
He also gets along well with other dogs and doesnt even care if cats are around. He's also a good running dog.

I will take him if he isn't spoken for. Is he neutered?
Yes, he is neutered.
GettinSum, please PM me.
Really pisses me off when people pawn there animals off when a bump in the road comes along. Pets to me are family and I cant imagine a moment in which I would give a family member away.
Getting so sick you cant take care of it is a pretty big bump in the road

Taking the SEC and Texas A&M to the next level....
SEC SEC SEC!!!
She's is very upset about this. Her insurance isn't covering all of her condition so she has to move into an apartment.
While I can see where you are coming from in a way aggie22 (My wife and I took in a second dog because the couple that bought her got pregnant and didnt want to make the time for her) but to be so sick that your 2nd choice is putting them down, then yes, find them a new home.
Your logic is boggling my mind
I love my dog too
But if I couldnt take care of it because I got ill, then I would want someone else to and if its not my family than my next choice would be an Aggie on the internet
A dog? Are you saying you are scared!?
I have never on any Board done this, but you win the Award of the 1st asswipe to ever get ignore from me.
Put up a pic and sit rep at the local vets (most are glad to do it) and you'll find a loving home fairly soon. Assuming things don't work out for Gettin Sum. Having to get rid of a pet (cats and hampsters precluded) after 7 years has to be pretty tough. And Cam, I finally figured out why you put double zeroes at the end of your name.
Hey Taylor I have a couple potential leads on it, if anything comes of them I will PM you.
Thank you sir
So am I going to have to bid for it now?? Haha!! Btw I told me three year old already so anyone that gets ahead of me well have to settle it up with her at a home game
Haha you are a good man, and I hope you can get the dog. It looks like a great dog and looks like your kid can have some great times with him (I assume based on the name Max). Just getting the word out there in case it doesn't work with you but regardless we are going to need updates on the dog whoever gets him.
