I know he was an LSU fan and felt a little hurt when he was not initially recruited by them.. and his dad pissed off a lot of LSU fans with some of his remarks about LSU not recruiting his son
...but Ellis had a monster senior season. He's a freakin stud. ..and now, one of LSU's CB commits is supposedly saying that Miami and LSU are neck and neck and he'll decide on NSD.
James Smith from the Times-Picayune says that LSU's interest was piqued with Noel's performance at the UA AA game and thinks it's possible that they go after him if Rashard Robinson continues to waver or defects to Miami.
Is this something to keep an eye on or probably nothing?
His dad posts here.
I have never seen him say anything good about lsu.
Wasn't he quoted as saying something to the effect of there being a zero percent chance Noel will go to LSU?
How many CB's did LSU lose out o the 10 underclassmen that declared?
Follow me on twitter @taylorhamm247
1 CB and 1 Safety. 2 CBs if you count Mathieu.
LSU only had 8 CB/DBs on their 2012 roster, none of which were Seniors. They will need some quality DB help to beat A&M going-forward.
And they will need to be 6'3" and up
It's going to be very interesting to see how these schools in the SEC are forced to change some of their recruiting to better match up against A&M now that they have to play us each year.
So, is Ellis solid to A&M or is he really looking at Miami and/or others?
LSU commit, Rashard Robinsin, is supposedly looking at Miami. I was just wondering if that might make Noel finally trickle up on LSU's board and if it's something to keep an eye on.
Got it. I misread your original post. Thanks.
Noel is one of the guys I'm excited about. He'll be a game changer. Future 1st rounder.
Garner and Ellis are both going to be absolute studs for us....
Two points on LSU:
1. Their S&C coach publicly impugned their players to the NFL rather than handling it internally (nice loyalty there, pal)
2. About 62 of their players declared early for the NFL
Why would anyone choose that place over what we have going on?
Here it is. Unbelievable.

Eh, that was a motivation tactic. Their S&C Coach said that was an in-house motivation tool for some guys who missed class... it was overblown online for like a day.
Make no mistake: LSU is a great program that consistently reloads.
As long as John Chavis is in charge of that defense, you bet your ass they intimidate me and anyone else with any good sense.
As long as Les Miles is there though, you bet your ass you can always feel like you have a chance to beat them because sometimes he just does dumb shit.

Hell yes. What he said. mettenberger don't scare me either. How many 3rd down PI calls did they get that game? Did we sign a 5 star kicker yet???
It sure upset Sam Montgomery. He posted it on Twitter. Glad to hear it wasn't as bad as it appeared. But not sure it hit its mark as an effective motivation tool.
