Does anyone know if Bob Stoops has, or is going to suspend Jalen Saunders or Stacy McGee? I have not been able to find out anything. I can't imagine the message that would send to allow them to play.
I think I've read McGee will be suspended, but Saunders will play.
Don't expect any suspensions. If they do, it'll be McGee and probably no one else.
“Honestly [tu's offer] doesn’t really matter though because I won’t go there. I won’t even visit." “I want to play big time ball in the SEC"
That is so messed up. In light of the Jerry Brown tragedy, and the fact that marijuana is not only illegal, but also a banned substance in the NCAA, Stoops is setting a terrible precedent. Also, in my opinion, it also shows how worried he is about A&M, and also his programs winning ability in general. If he does not suspend them I see it as an indication that the coach is losing, or has lost control of his athletes.
Lil bobby is scared of the Cobra. You don't suspend someone for drinking and not suspend someone for illegal drugs
Are you speculating or do you have a source? Just curious. Saunders scares me. He's awesome.
"Failure is my greatest fear. Yours is probably heights or spiders or some silly shit."
I don't have any sources but I tend to agree with Aggie2012thman. Everything I have read Stoops has completely avoided making any statements regarding suspending any of the involved players. That tells me, he's not going to suspend them, but we'll see, he still has a few hours to make the right decision
Drunk driving vs. possession of weed.
One is a big deal. The other isn't.
Actually both are crimes, in OK, weed is a big deal, legally speaking. In addition weed, is a banned substance under NCAA rules
Well, I think he means that one endangers the lives of others, one doesn't.

Wow overreact much? It was a bag of weed.
exactly my point who cares, i wish both were in for no excuses
Jake Trotter from ESPN sports reports that Jalen Saunders will play in the Cotton Bowl, and Stacy McGee will be suspended for the Cotton Bowl and will not travel with the team
Saunders was not caught in possession of weed. He was pulled over for a broken tail light and the smell of weed but their was nothing in the car and the DA dropped all charges and threw out the arrest as there was nothing he could be arrested for. Btw he also didnt fail a drug test either which is the reason he is playing.
Do you really think sumlin would suspes manziel, or nealy, or malena, etc, for a a first time offense of weed? Especially one that the chares might get dropped.
Even if the charges stick, I'd be more than okay with not suspending him. We didn't suspend manziel for his first mistake. Don't see how this is different.
Interesting that Saunders passed a drug test presumably administered by OU when he admits he had smoked earlier in the evening. And no, the charges have not been dropped, and yes there was MJ in the car.
Spin your tall tales elsewhere dumb okie.
