Look at my later reply, he hurt his shoulder in the cotton bowl. He's probably still recovering.
Floyd Raven at safety makes my cack hard.
Totally stoked about our secondary.
Surprised backup qb is not listed as Joeckel OR Davis.
It made too much sense not start Raven at FS. Can't afford for Everett to move from CB unless Ellis or Garner prove to be ready (which we won't know this spring). Hurd is not a safety. Marshall hasn't played yet. Franklin has shown nothing...who else is there?
there are a few injured guys not on there, like Julien Obioha, that's probably the case with Jenkins.
It is notable that Trey Williams is listed at kickoff return, so maybe he is ready to go this spring.

It is also probably important to realize that this is not a set in stone depth chart. I kind of have the impression that this is set in place so that these guys have a chance to prove themselves during spring ball. We will most likely see quite a few changes between now and August.
I thought it was interesting that T-Will is listed for KOR. Hopefully that means that he is healthy. I'm still anxiously awaiting the future of Obioha, though. I seriously hope he gets back to health soon

Nate Askew on D! Interesting.
Injured but not serious

At first I was like "WTF happened to Trey??"
Then I realized that this doesn't consider guys who are injured.
I also realized that it doesn't include guys who weren't early enrolled for 2013.
Something that got me, though: Joeckel> Matt Davis?

Floyd Raven is hands down my favorite non-starter from last year. Can't wait to see how he does at FS.
Are you kidding? I could hear that arrow a mile away.
Before people freak, keep in mind that 3 of starters invthe front 7 just aren't listed because they're injured/suspended right now. Not sure what anyone would be surprised by in the pre-Spring Depth Chart.
Why does the chart look all jacked up when I open it?

And yet he didn't make the 3 deep on offense?
The listen to Benny.
Its still a reminder of how razor thin we are, especially in the front 7. We will get to the point where we can have guys miss the spring and promising young scholarship players take their place in the 2 deep instead of converted WRs. But we arent there yet.

No Ivan Robinson on an incredibly thin spring two deep? Is he hurt, gone...?
Nevermind, just saw the update.

1. Somebody said his Cack was hard, I laughed so hard!
2. The D-line scares me just like it does everyone but I'm cautiously optomistic.
3. Either Howard Matthews or Donnie Baggs will be All SEC
Ze German already lost his back up spot to Stuckey. I was kind of hoping Stuckey could RS this year and have three years to start.

Bad cell phone service
Also, Tyrell Taylor has the size to play SAM. I didn't realize he's already a Jr. We could really use Alexander turning on beast mode this year. Makes me wonder if we could RS Tyrell now and try to beef him up or teach him to play OLB. I know WDE depth probably dictates that we put him in the rotation now, but dang, he's a featherweight at 230. He needs another 10-20 lbs, IMO.
Im probably late to the party but is Mike Rich officially done/
Our RBs are going to look like 4 future Heisman winners this spring.
Depth charts like this are great recruiting tools.
