In the recap for the game, ESPN reported that Sumlin said Thomas Johnson is with his family, but he is still in contact with the team.
Wow, that's not a good sign for TJ returning this year.
Would be very surprised if he plays again this year. This is one of the strangest stories I've seen.
my opinion is that he doesn't need to come back this year. He needs to do whatever he needs to do to get his head right and come back ready for next year
I'm sorry Rob, but you do understand what he did was not good for his family, the University, or himself? Texas A and M was on the map not because of JFF, but yet because of a player that was missing. This isn't the first time he has done this. Let him sit the rest of the year to get what he needs to get in order.
...who the heck seriously knows except God, and Sumlin. ~ Aggiemom6
Agree. Needs to take care of his life first, school and football second.
The team and the university handling this the right way does not good or harm, but them handling it wrong could be detrimental for a long time especially with recruiting. I think so far Sumlin has handled it as well as he could.
