Pretty embarrassing Aggies. Muschamp is not talented. He not the guy for Florida long term. I know it's game one, but what does that say about Sumlin? His offense won't pass the ball downfield (we wont get any elite WRs in recruiting as time goes on) and he simply couldn't adjust after a few simple basic defensive changes Muschamp made at halftime. Sumlin lost a manageable 2nd half lead at home. That is 1000% unacceptable. Losing in the fashion we did makes me absolutely sick. Same results different headset.
There is no honeymoon for Kevin Sumlin. 4-8 season to come puts him on notice starting next season IMO. We are playing for keeps now Aggies. If you don't agree you're an enemy of the program. Find another hobby on Saturdays.
I really wish a few of the aggies on this board would drink a gallon of bleach... You guys are absolutely horrible.
Tough loss. The losses feel horrible until you become numb to them.
Worst post ever Benny. You're the definition of knee jerk. He did get out coached. Lesson learned. Move on.
So a 3 pt loss to a more talented team = a 4-8 season? Did you see arky? Auburn? Florida is picked anywhere from middle to top of the east (Phil Steele has them 1 in the east). Did you expect a redshirt freshman in his first start to become Peyton manning?
We are not ready to contend for a championship, but that was known. We did show we can compete, that was not known before yesterday.
Bullcrap. When you have a SEC HC job, you don't get "lessons learned" or "hall passes". This is big boy shit. Act as if. There are 20+ talented and promising HCs that would give their left nut to be our HC.
Go watch the pros at Bama and LSU and report back to be how they are learning lessons and taking lumps along the way, much less losing second half leads at home to crummy teams and troglodyte HCs like Muschamp.
benny boy is a t-sip
The fact is, we should have won that game. We can make all the excuses we want, but that would have been a huge W and it was there for the taking if our offense could have done ANYTHING in the second half. 65 yards is laughable.
Give it a rest - you pretend to know some football but haven't a clue.
Ok, let's test your theory using what I think we'd all agree is a pretty good SEC coach...Nick Saban in his first year at LSU and BAMA.
In 2000, the LSU Tigers went 8–4 but the season was marred by several lopsided losses, including 34–17 loss to the Auburn Tigers, 13–10 loss to the UAB Blazers, and a 41–9 loss to the Florida Gators.
In 2007, Alabama ended the regular season with a 6–6 record, including a four-game losing streak, a particularly humiliating loss at home to Louisiana-Monroe, and a loss to Auburn in the Iron Bowl, the Tide's sixth straight.
Let's not let facts get in the way though right?!? Move on.

Benny is the worst poster anywhere.
SEC SEC SEC!!!
I don't think he was outcoached at all. If anything, his coaching staff kept us in the game. Florida has more overall talent. There's no arguing that. If you reverse staffs, Sumlin wins with floridas players by more than 3 IMO.
Sumlin, in his first game with a freshman QB making his first ever start was 3 points worse than Muschamp in his second year, with a game under their belt, a QB that had at least taken snaps before and had started a game, and overall better athletes.
No, we COULD have won that game. I'm so tired of hearing people say we should have won it. There's a big difference. We COULD have won it.
Had Florida lost, their fans would be saying they SHOULD have won.

Correct, COULD have won. Maybe a play her, not a time out there, or a thurs game last week. I won't say SHOULD because every game flows differently depending on the situation. Those who want double digit wins in our first season or want us to be on lsu's or bama's level, all while playing a new system coach and qb are just setting yourself up for disappointment. I wish we would have won,am pissed we didn't, but it was our first game in a new era in a league where the national champ doesn't go undefeated more often than not.
I have better things to do than read the rants of some over reactor. I hate that this site is dominated with threads like bennyboy's. Vent your opinions to your dog.

Shut up dude.
I actually agree. I believe there were only two balls thrown beyond 15 yards the entire game. We were very predictable in the 2nd half. Same result different coach..... i'm proud of our defense but our offense was pathetic. If we do continue to play like this (praying that we don't), we will be in that 4-8 to 5-7 range.
Good post. Bunch of sissies on this board. We were out coached.... anyone without maroon glasses could see that.... lets hope they will make the adjustments. I believe in Sumlin and his staff.
Good post. Glad there are some rational and logical posters on this board still.
We had this game in the bag. Coaching lost us this game. Not the players.
You played well... glad to have you guys in the SEC.
Wow... I know I was over the top last night, but this board has become texags lite. If you step out of line with the groupthink mob you get downvoted, told to drink bleach, die in a fire, or contract terminal cancer. Classic mouthbreathers that will continue to support losing football and run down anyone who says "Hey, maybe things weren't done as well as they could've been." This "community" sucks.
