Just heard on ABC13 news that he ran a 4.28 40yd dash this week. Dizzzzam. I wish him the best in the draft. I remember thinking he was going to transfer to A&M before he chose Rice.
I heard that too. No chance it was on laser.
Can you imagine if there was a hurdling circuit at the combine? McGuffie would jump up draft boards like no player in history.

Agreed, but dang, when was the last time a white guy ran that fast? If he even gets in the mid 4.3s at the combine, that would be amazing.
Guess I botched the spelling of his last name....my bad
He's not good at football.
Ya that was my other comment but I deleted it. He's too white to run that fast. He will probably go undrafted to the patriots and win some superbowls
He is not invited to the combine because he is not good at football.
Dude's a head case. The staff didn't want him when he was trying to transfer. I remember when he showed up to our practice, a couple days after committing to usc, decked out in Michigan gear. He is fast though
MCGUFFIE! MCGUFFIE!! All I remember now is the video with the classmate that made fun of him.
Michigan to Rice...enough said. Maybe he can be a base runner for the Rice base all team.
...who the heck seriously knows except God, and Sumlin. ~ Aggiemom6
He never committed to USC. Michigan was the only place he was ever committed to.

You loved him like a son...
Haha, yeah. I do have a soft spot for him. He had a tough upbringing. I think going to the Big Ten was a mistake. He should have gone to Cal like he almost did on signing day. It would have been a much better fit. Rice moved him to slot WR this year and he did pretty well there. If he runs a sub-4.4 at his pro day, he'll at least sign as a free agent with somebody as a slot and maybe sneak into the 7th round.
Sorry it's been a long day, I mixed that up. He showed up days after committing to Michigan decked out in usc stuff. Same point
He would have had success at Michigan, except he ran upright and took some pretty nasty shots in his Freshman season.
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
I agree, Michigan threw him to the wolves ... he should have started off in the slot and when he got bigger gone to RB, not as a true freshman though
speeds never been his problem.
Staying healthy has been. Not being a good rb was another.
should have been a slot for Sherman.

Didnt McGuffie have serious concussion issues in college? Probably makes him more likely to be a free agent.
